actually,9 years ago(yeah von,we've been around awhile)when i started,i was part of a group of ministers who did weddings.yes we charged,and i learned that alot of work went into these services,and sometimes travel was requried(long distance).we had a standard contract(which i still have),and have used,although modified. the only weddings i have done recently have been for friends,and the mother of the bride paid me.i had made it clear that i was doing the ceremony because i wanted to,but she was very happy with it and wanted me to have something. otherwise,espically if travel is involved,i do charge.gas saddly is ALOT more than it was when i started,so i just can't do them free,execpt for close friends.

my unit never had those.i was given one by a caption at a unit in ft campbell,ky.don't know what happened to it,but i suspect it was stolen when my apartment was broke into. in germany,we did pfenning checks.i carried a one pfenning coin for a long time,and still have one of those somewhere.

what can i say?he raised the federal tax on smokes,and i said hell no!that was it,i was done.

didn't vote as there was not an option that fit me.

research has devloped cures for some diseases,but the orginal intent had nothing to do with curing anything. i disagree that"research"should be prohibited,as all that would do is put it in the hands of"researchers"who may not be so careful.

trust me murph,even after 3 years,there are times i ask myself why i quit(real reason,i got pissed off at obama).and there are days i want a ciggeratte so bad.but i know it would take just a puff,and i would be in a world of do-do. i'm told that it supposed to get easier with time,but not how much.all i can wish you is the best.

so other than being smarter than the rest of us in using the law to his advantage(i am not addressing the morality of it),your point is what? his philosophy is different from most of us i would imagine.

welcome to the world of human beings.sometimes they can be a great bunch. i have"christians"who are at me all the time because i don't believe in their god.frankly,i don't believe in any god,period,but that is another point.i have tried to politely explain this to them,and then i have had to end the conversation less politely than i would like.here on the forum,we all have the same"belief;while i may not agree with yours,you have a right to follow it as you deem correct". your"friends"are not going to accept that and will do everything they think is right to change you.you have to decide whether distance might be a good thing from them,or be ready to put up with their lectures everytime you see them. i have lost some friends that way,but made many more based on a mutual acceptance.

when it comes to domestic violence groups,it is not something i would advise getting involved in without some training.there are alot of emotions that can come to the surface that you and the person experiencing them may not be ready for.and despite best intentions,that may not be the best thing for them. spiritual counseling is sometimes best used to refer them to a licensed professional.this is not a lack of caring or a weakness,but sometimes in the persons best intrest.

it would also be nice to include a small donation to them(*not requried*but nice).if you need it notarized,then they request you include a $5.00 fee for that.check with them on that for sure.could be a little more.

if you are then so am i.i don't worship anything,but at the same time,scince and philosophy have their respective places in life.

that's about the same as what i was paying for them on base in germany.we sold them for upwards of $50 a carton,and that was back in 77 . i wish i could tell you it gets easier with time,but even after(almost)3 years,it doesn't.i still use an e-cig(no nicotine,menthol flavor),not as much as i used to,but driving i do.i will admit tho that there are days i have to question as to why i stopped(never quit),i just remind myself that if i smoke one,i'm screwed. anyhow,good job murph,and may you continue.

even tho you both have lost me,my question is to rev al.in the scenerio you just used,you have basically said that "christianity" would be the"belief system",execpt that in this case"old nick"is god(actually i find humor in that on several levels).i'm wondering why mi/ai would have questions concerning creation?i know most humans do,therefore the plethera of beliefs,non beliefs,and plain"i don't know". anyhow,before i get to far off topic,i am still at somewhat of a loss.on some levels,i understand in terms of commander data,and even asimov.and some i even sense could relate to the foundation series.

the locks on my truck don't work,so the neighborhood rats got in it and stole the albutrol i keep in the glove compartment in case of emergency. if they needed it,i would have given it to them.however,if they think they can inhale it and get a buzz,they are saddly mistaken.

grief manifests itself in different ways stormy.what your feeling is normal for you. i know this sounds cliche,but remember,it isn't how long we are here,it's what we do that is importent.you have touched more than one life and for that ,you'll be rembered.think of tabby in the same way,and if it's meant to be,you'll see each other again. somehow i hope this makes sense to you.
