  1. i was at a ren fair with a gentlemen dressed like a "demon".people asked me why a monk would hang out with this demon.i said "he scares the hell out of people".had visitors laughing about that one all day.
  2. since noone is making said offer, let alone backing it up with cash,i really can't answer this question.i would like to believe that it wouldn't be anything that would hasten my demise, espically right after i got paid. it's like the old joke"we have established what you are,we're just settling on price".
  3. stormson, i know a of g's do oil annoitments, and might do one for you.sometimes they will even if your not a member of their church.also try for a lutheran.they do the same. if it came down to it,mormans do it also,so there is another possiblity,if you can find 3 guys willing to get together. my thoughts are with you.
  4. always asking the questions, looking at the answers.

  6. or at the same time bro devon, allowing is to be a part of something that doesn't require religion of one or another type.
  7. if he had died,he wouldn't be doing an interview.
  8. good job murph.just do what you've been doing and keep going.
  9. i either die in 2049,or i'm already dead since 1994,both on nov 8th.not exact?no kidding.
  10. could be worse. "oh(fill in the blank),i lost a finger"!
  11. but if he's making his own, that medal would be the center piece he is looking for.
  12. wishing you the best and hope your healing comes along.
  13. you might want to post that question in the faq part of this site(the part where you tell us a little about yourself, and what type of advice your looking for). would be read by more people i think.
  14. both. you have to be able to do one or the other as the sitution dictates to survive.
  15. wish you both the best.an ar 15?interesting choice.
  16. since you are the"officiant"in a legal contract(ie:a marriage, with license i'm guessing),most states will not allow you to do so before your a minimum of 18. there is nothing stopping you from conducting a religious ceremony if the people involved want you to do so.
  17. even after 2 + years, this is hard for me to answer. my mom spent 2 weeks of her last 4 letting me know she hated me,and that she wasn't leaving me anything.my last words on that were that i did NOT care. 2 weeks before she died, she asked me if it was ok if she died.i told her it was.after that, she pretty much quit talking to anyone.
  18. that is what my foster grandfather did when he was an active minister, and worked as a bus mechanic for his local school district.he paid taxes on both incomes, and yes,he also took the allowable deductions.and he passed every audit they did. when he retired from the school district,he went into full time ministry, and his church paid the difference between his pension and his expenses as a full time minister.
  19. i've never made enough to have any impact on my finances, and seriously doubt i would.if it ever reached that point, then i would also have to start deducting expenses as a minister. and yes,i have access to a tax adviser who can help me should that occur.
  20. as am i apperantly. my personal issues is 50% economic is 80%
  21. as i understand it,pagans tend to believe in more than one deity,or incarnations of one;as i also understand it,most pagans tend to have one deity they identify with on a personal level.not to get to far off topic, but some pagans just refer to said deity as the"goddess". thank you vikti for your kind observations on the eastern"religions".they tend to get lumped under the"pagan"umbrella, and not always with good results.
