The Actions Of Two People
Brother Kaman replied to Dianna's topic in * Welcome - ULC Minister's Introduction Junction *
I would not judge Christians but it was Christians who murdered the native population in America to near extinction. I don't think they were extremist, either. Just good old God fearing citizens. I heard tell that Muhammad Ali was asked what he thought of the 9-ll terrorist sharing his religion. He asked back what the questioner thought of Hitler sharing his. One group attacks another for whatever reason and then it becomes a blood feud of revenge. Burning a peaceful Mosque, Synagogue or Church, it is all hate, preached by bitter twisted men. -
It is sad that so many Americans will first denounce people who are rich and then turn around and denounce those who are poor.

Women are first and foremost human beings. They are biologically different for the purposes of reproduction of the specie. Patriarchal religions, such as the Abrahamic religions stifle a woman's rights to her humanity. Women are just as much God as any other of God's creations.

Am I A Hippocrit
Brother Kaman replied to RevPatty's topic in * Welcome - ULC Minister's Introduction Junction *
We are all hypocrites in one area or another to some degree or another. Those who say they aren't have not looked inside themselves too deeply. -
Who Controls The Weather?
Brother Kaman replied to Dan56's topic in * Welcome - ULC Minister's Introduction Junction *
For those that believe God meddles in peoples lives and that whatever good or bad that befalls mankind is in the hands of God and is a part of His "plan," then I would say that, yes, the recent tornados in Oklahoma and everywhere else is God's "fault." -
I Pray For A Boyfriend
Brother Kaman replied to lordie's topic in Good Wishes, Gratitude, Blessings and Prayers
The magic of the universe is at your command. All you need to do is ask and then let it go. To keep asking is like ordering something from a catalogue and reordering it every day because it has not arrived yet. Ask and know that it will be delivered in its own time. -
We all have the ability to do as we please, meredog, but we only have the right to do as we please as it pleases the government to allow it.
-
Governments can grant or refuse the "right" to own anything. Firearms, alcohol, gold, and yes, people. I am grateful that I can have a glass of whiskey, own and carry a pistol and I am equally if not more grateful that no person in my country is allowed by law to be enslaved. None of those "rights" are God given. Before one can declare something is "God given," one must determine which "God" they are referring to. The God of Abraham allowed slavery until the governments and civilizations matured to the point that it was no longer allowed. I am sure there are/were many other "Gods" that also allowed slavery or perhaps even required it.

I think wrong can be defined thousands of ways by thousands of people. We all obey only the laws we feel are just and convenient and disobey laws we think are unjust (if we figure we can get away with it) and get in our way. Is that wrong? Probably depends on how many people think it is wrong. Our only "rights" are what our government (hopefully of the people) have granted us. Same as any other nation. God does not grant rights. There are no God given rights. Right to life? Just a legislative decision. If we do not have the right to live, we have no rights at all except to obey the laws of the land and feel lucky if we live in a land that isn't as bad as some of the others. That brings us back full circle to us obeying the laws we feel are just and convenient.

Direct Experiences With God &goddess
Brother Kaman replied to Ex Nihilo's topic in Earth/Nature-Based & Indigenous Religions
To look upon the face of God, all one has to do is look in the mirror. To feel the soul of God, one only has to look within. -
Another 3 Day Ressurection Story Prior To Yeshua
Brother Kaman replied to Fawzo's topic in Stories & Texts Archive
I have been saying for years that I am God and no one flocks around me! Maybe it is because I have been saying for years that everyone else is God, too. I guess I will just flock around myself and be happy with it. -
Our purpose is the same as any animal's. Pass on our dna in order to continue our specie and protect and nurture our young until they can fend for themselves in the environment we have created for them.

The law told me 18 yrs old for most and 21 for all. My car insurance told me 25 yrs old. We are in fact old enough at any age to make any important choice in our life. Although, we do make more mature and educated decisions at different ages than others. I am still growing up and may well make it to manhood before I die. Somehow, though, I kinda hope I won't.

Words From The Wise...your Favorites
Brother Kaman replied to Ex Nihilo's topic in Creative Expression & Cultural Arts
Mom always told me to, "Eat your dinner. Don't you know there are children in China that will go hungry tonight?" Just shows that not every word from a wise person's mouth is truth or even credible. -

First Wedding

Remember, you will not be as nervous as the groom and all eyes are on those to be married, not on you. -
Jehovahs Witness Event
Brother Kaman replied to Coolhand's topic in * Welcome - ULC Minister's Introduction Junction *
It is too bad that no proper Jehovah's Witness would be a member of this forum. It is never good to just hear one side of a story, specially when we are such an all inclusive group. -
Mine is a photo of an old friend long passed away. He was very intelligent in a ignorant sort of way. He often reminded my of myself and was greatly loved by my wife.

Extraterrestrials
Brother Kaman replied to Zequatanil's topic in New Age Theosophy & Cosmic Humanism
Everyone likes to believe that, if there are extraterrestrials, they would be so far more intelligent that us and far more technologically advance that they would bother to come and visit us for the summer instead of aunt Betty and uncle Elmer. If there are extraterrestrials, they are probably schmucks just like us, wondering how they are going to pay the bills and what little Johnny has been up to. -
Wisdom Expressed In 20 Words Or Less

Extraterrestrials
Brother Kaman replied to Zequatanil's topic in New Age Theosophy & Cosmic Humanism
Experience should tell us that there is no intelligent life in the universe. -
When I look into the mirror, I see God. When I look into the faces of those around me, I see God. It is sad that all those who inhabit the earth do not realize their divinity. Were they able to, there is nothing we could not do to change ourselves and our circumstance. My divinity (I like to call it magic) works well for me but I cannot work magic for another unless the other person wishes it to be so. So many people look outside themselves for God when God can only be found from within.
