Brother Kaman

As noted in another topic, I have signed in at a few hotels in the past as Rev. Kaman. I have found it offers a certain amount of unearned respect and deferrence.

I remember when those who make the rules decided that crippled people (yes, shame on me for saying crippled) would here after be referred to as handicapped. Then that word seemed to have dark, demeaning connotations so the rule makers decided that handicapable was the new buzz word. That was all well and good, I suppose, but many of these "handicapable" folks still felt as though they were handicapped. Didn't seem like the various state governments had any desire to change their parking placards, either.

Actually, Dr. of Metephysics doesn't bring me much beyond a strange look but signing as Reverend does seem to deliver a certain unearned respect.

But this is how I use it. I am amazed at how many people don't know what metephysics is.

When I have a project, I have to completely visualize the final out come and then visualize the steps to get there. It isn't always easy but I can usually get it in time.

Forgive me for butting in but I think in pictures (sort of short videos) and concepts. I believe that could be why I have difficulty communicating with the written word.

It is us against them and G/god is on our side. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know He has things under control and that our side is His favorite.

I have a doctorate in metephysics. I have been known to register at hotels as Brother Kaman, PhD and once or twice as Rev. Kaman.

Space is material. It has dimension. Science tells us also that space is not empty. Time is a mental construct.

If the soul is immaterial, then it cannot exist outside a mental thought. If it is material, then the laws of physics apply (Newtonian and quantum) and we have not yet scientifically discovered it. Perhaps physists will learn of a thought particle and those particles make up the soul. I am sure it will all be revealed in time.

About the only time the forum is active to any great extent is when the drama is running high. That is what makes it so entertaining. No one here is seriously interested in learning about another,s belief or religion. It is not exactly running over with questions as to the details of Druidism, Naturism, etc. Everyone can probably quote what wiki has to say but that is probably the extent of it. Give us a good Christians vs the Lions and we line right up for our tickets to the colosseum. Every one likes a good fight especially if we can disguise it as "learning." Indeed, the forum is great entertainment and the actors here have as great egos as any Hollywood performer.

The soul and senteince/consciousness are not necessarily the same. If there is indeed a soul, we have no idea what properties it contains or what form it takes.

I will hold Atwater Vitki and his family close in my thoughts and meditations.

It is difficult to know someone without face to face interaction. Without those visual clues to see what reaction one's words are having on another, it is easy to misunderstand the intent of those words and easy to be misunderstood.

Congratulations! Though I have perceived many losses of freedom in this country, it is reassuring that the ULC has been here working to preserve and protect our religious freedoms.
