The way I see it, Pete, loving something and worshiping it are two different concepts. I do, indeed love life. I love my children and grandchildren but I do not worship any. I cannot picture in MY mind anyone else doing so either.

Of course. They have written song about it bit is it worship?

One can enjoy life to its fullest but I can't picture anyone worshiping life, Pete.

To be in the company of fools is to risk killing someone.

If I am driving, I am giving my whole attention to getting to my destination safely. If I drive drunk I either consciously know I am impaired or I have rationalized my drunkenness away.

I do not do that, either.

"Worship" is not something I do.

Why not is just as legitimate

I think most of us are retired, work part time or cannot work at all for whatever reason. Folks with full time jobs an something better to do with their time, usually don't get too involved with any forum on the net.

We cannot agree on this one .I had framed an argument and then realized how futile it would be. I have been around Christians (once professed to be one myself) for a long time. I have read your replies to many posts on this forum. I have closely followed the "Pete - Dan56" saga and could already anticipate the reply I would receive. I will stick to my thoughts as I know you will yours. I certainly do not wish to start a "Brother Kaman - Dan56" saga.

I know that good and bad are just the extremes of the spectrum and you must have one in order to experience the other. My contention is, even with my own vision of God, if God is responsible for one he must be responsible for the other.

It is wonderful that so many can express so much in so many varying ways and be neither right nor wrong.
