On the surface, i would wonder why you could not do as any other member of the clergy do. A ULC ordination is an ordination the same as any other. The question would be whether Bangladesh has any reason to think of a ULC ordination as any thing other than authentic. I would think YOU would be the perfect one to enlighten US as this process unfolds for you. I intend to do a search of the net now, because you have piqued my curiosity... i'll let you know if I find anything useful...

Coolhand, you are assuming everyone who reads the book will start from the same foundation you have.... some would say you operate from faulty premises.... as do the the teachings you are learning..... I'm not sure where the sentiment you are displaying may be found in the book you are studying in your classes, but I'm sure you have a rationalization... I'd say the publisher could probably give you an idea of how many folks out there appreciate what the man has to say... I appreciate the review, however you comment about pete ...... misplaced humor, my friend... perhaps you should meditate on why pete gets up your craw so much....

Rev Rainbow do you know of Marozia, senatrix of Rome ( 926-932 )? She is commonly believed to be the root of the legends of Pope Joan... another era of the Catholic church one should be familiar with.... This was a woman who thoroughly lived in the Roman style - and y'all should know what that means..... from before 900ad to after the sack of Rome in the 1500's there were criminals and deviants in charge of the Pontiff's chair... thats a solid 600 years of falsity on the papal throne.... not to mention the happenings before 900...

Last time i was in the hospital, i escaped before lunch too.... My prayers continue.... I truly hope the lighthearted farewells can take place in the future at home as well.... grief is a chain that binds..

We all have relatives who we feel need to shine their light a little more... the shadows get thicker and thicker, just before the dawn...... then, not a shadow can exist within the light... My prayers include strength for you. Sometimes it seems the strong must suffer more, because they can... but I have faith that valuable wisdom will come as a result... I am here, and I will be sending Prayer continually... Shine your Light, my friend, for ALL in the situation need it...

Stormson.... I'm going to step beyond the point I normally would - because you are a peer..... I deal a lot with folks having similar problems with family relations ( including my family, my friend..) Trust in the Love you have for your daughter - she knows you well.... she will desire a closer relationship with her mother, it is natural... however she will never forget the caring and support you have shown... if, as you believe, her mother does not supply the same - she will remember where she found that support, and she will come back to her Loving father, and it will be her own ( first hand ) experience which has supplied the necessary knowledge... she will need more of your support at that time to help her heal the hurt which will accumulate - you must be clearheaded to see what she needs from you.... release your anger where it may block your sight.... and continue to be that Loving father - your anger has no place around a sickbed... I hope you do not take insult from my words. I know you probably know these things already - however I have benefitted from friends who voice the obvious at just the right time, and I only wish to do the same for you, my friend - irregardless of our difference of opinion in other areas.... I continue to pray for all of you....

A Bio show on the Beatles aired a few days ago.... I was very surprised to see the atmosphere in which the Beatles were created.... seems they grew up in a similar environment to myself..... I've new respect for the guys....

I will pray for her.... and I will send my well-wishes for understanding for you as well... It is very hard at times, when our best laid plans fall through, and we do not understand why, to see that it MAY be the hand of someone greater than ourselves, who is guiding us to an ultimately happier future... Don't lose your trust Stormson - admit you do not understand - and ask for understanding.... it may take a while, but you will more than likely live to see the reasons... though I know there will be tough times until some understanding dawns.... I will send you my Love - for your highest and best good....
