Kingfisher, my heart already wants to read too much into this, i am sure.... but thank you for that... This is not the only peculiarity I have been experiencing... I would like to ask our other energy healers if they have been noticing subtle " differences " lately in their healing sessions..... anything strange happening lately?

I would like to add a few thoughts now.... had to make my suggestion about hemp oil first.... I am 6'7"... I have had occasion to be concerned about joint function... I grew 2-1/2" in one school year as a young adult... the cartilage in my hips and knees was rather abused from lots of rough use... The glucosamine chondroitin ( check that for spelling - feeling lazy ) was truly a boon... it has performed what feels like a miracle... I also have a condition which causes much difficulty through inflammation... when i was in a state which allowed medical marijuana, it's benefits to me were clear and undeniable... now i must use aspirin... beware of the side effects of aspirin.... It is terribly hard on the teeth, if you must use it frequently spend much attention to cleansing the teeth. Pay attention to injuries when taking aspirin... a nose bleed led to a transfusion for me... also, aspirin has led to an ulcer or two.... now, specifically, TMJ - my sister, who recently joined the forum, had a severe problem with TMJ.... her jaw would actually get locked open.... and even when it didn't, she suffered pain from it... several years ago she found a doctor in virginia beach who offered an outpatient surgery to fix it.... she has had no problems in the years since the surgery.... i don't know how similar your condition is to what hers was, however hopefully you will find relief.... Ever considered energy medicine? I'll offer you distance reiki.... ... I'm a reiki practioner of the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage...

here's a little lighthearted story which relates to the above question of awareness... I have been doing my meditation outside lately as much as possible. Nice sunny spot on the grass, sunshine shining down.... nice. A very peculiar thing has begun to happen..... I am not a person who sees something mystical in the ordinary everyday happenings around us.... I don't see a guiding hand, necessarily, in fortuitous happenings... odd things happen which can't be explained... I'm ok with that.... here's the odd thing thats been happening : when i sit on the ground during meditation, i seem to be attracting critters from below the ground.... In a two-week period I have had three moles ( possibly voles... ) surface under me... not just digging around in the ground under me, but actually come out of the ground and go beneath me while in a crosslegged posture... one actually climbed onto my boot.... I have also had one corn snake slither from below me.... that one shook me out of meditation..... shocked i was..... This is a peculiar thing as i am fond of meditating on the earth, have done it for years, and have never had these things happening.... Do you suppose there could be a reason why this is going on? My meditation has, as a part of it, a call for Love and Healing directed at the Earth itself.... I wondering if these critters are sensing the energy i send and are disturbed by it....

I'm not even gonna say anything..... An Odd Cure....

I'm not sure exactly which articles from the LBA and EIA men you are referring to...... I wasn't necessarily referring to the stuff from the site... I've said earlier that i wouldn't personally vouch for the things on the site... just a resource for articles to track down and such... Personally, until i have verification that a story is indeed true, it must remain, at best, simply a possibility ( with various degrees of probability )..... and the reason i posted the info from the cayce readings is because they mention many of the topics which you will stumble upon on the ooparts site... Including mention of " mythological " creatures as living breathing animals... when i read the stories and tales and teachings from all the religious and spiritual texts that i read on a daily basis, i do my best to consider that there may have been translation issues, there may have been changes to the various texts, that there may have been simple misunderstandings which introduce confusion... with the amount of references to giants to be found one has to wonder exactly what are they referring to.... There are specific points that were being made, i wonder at times exactly what they were... i found a few interesting quotes from the edgar cayce readings....: TEXT OF READING 2802-1 M 35 (D.C., Theosophist) 11. In the one before this we find when the second coming of the souls into the earth's plane, the entity among those who gave the first of the dwellings for groups, and in the name then called Eos, for the entity then of giant stature and of those who were called the Sons of the Highest, for there come many of the first rules as were sought by these first peoples. it's your thought that the folks being talked about in the book of enoch used the mile as a unit of measurement?? uh, ok..... thanks...... i needed that..... if you are an eternal being, whats the difference between a flash and a few billion years? And how would the created beings be able to tell the difference....? perhaps we are talking about a few billion years which are nothing but a flash to our creator..... perhaps no more than a " day "?

I wonder at the idea of a Fallen Angel.... would an angel, by very description, be a being with advanced knowledge of some sort? some knowledge which made that being seem " great "... In this context, I'm very curious... even nefarious characters can be remembered as Great... according to the book of enoch, the fallen angels were guilty of teaching the arts and sciences to man... supposedly, before he was ready.... Isn't the book of enoch an interesting read? sacred-texts_Book of Enoch support that site !!! Personally, I don't know what to believe at this point.... and i've been at this point for a long time... i wonder how many of the bones that have been found are gracing a front porch in west virginia, instead of a scientist's lab...

I'm pretty vocal and i assume folks remember my previous posts..... prolly that whole pesky arrogance thing again.... However, I believe we are all on individual paths leading towards the same place in the end... These paths take souls through shadow and light, based on choices... No path is more important, or intrinsicly more appropriate than any other... As far as the development of the souls in progression around this planet goes.... morality is an abstract concept... a method of ensuring a certain type of incarnation, in the effort to experience a specific set of experiences.... for the edification of your higher self.. In physical embodiment it is just what it seems... the gathered consensus of opinion... a framework to judge reactions before the fact... and punishment after... a method to employ law... and I honestly see no grand plan involving the qualities encouraged by anyones version of morality... when we shed the physical, we will shed any idea of morality, to follow an individual path onwards... our only concern being how to get closer to our creator... This is why, I feel, there is such a disparity between the morality of ages.... between the morality of generations really.... why i see morality as a fluid concept, my own personal morality is more cerebral... it is my personal opinion as to what is correct, in the most senses of the word, in any one instance... it is not necessarily what society as a whole would approve of... quite obviously, i would think.....

what is the age of the earth in your belief Dan? I ask this, because this has been a question in my mind for a long time. Attending services way down south i was first introduced to the idea that fossils and such were planted in the earth during creation to test the faith of man. Is this your view? I've wondered at the reasoning behind this for a long time.... Not that i automatically dismiss it, I rather feel that the time periods referred to are confused... or that the facts of the matter are understood a little different than was originally the case... I'm not looking to argue about this, i honestly want understanding from another view... This discussion, i feel, complicates the idea.... why giant bones? why plant them alongside giant lizards? why the bones of giants, which are talked about in the book... doesn't this confuse a literal faith? I am curious how this is put to rest in your own mind......

so until there is conclusive proof, there is no point in discussing a topic? You are in an interesting place for such a sentiment.... ( a philosophical thread on a religious forum.... ) for an example of how study makes for understanding : hobbitt article and no, they are not 100% sure yet.... and neither were the early explorers who found a round world..... there must be an idea before it can be proven... if you wait for the facts first, there will be no investigation... there is enough existing to search for an answer.... too frequently anomolies which do not fit the established view are completely ignored... and while merrerdog is arguing about the likelyhood of a subject which cannot, at this time, be explained.... i was wondering how our more fundamental friends feel on the subject...... what does one with a literal view of the bible feel about this subject?

how can i tell you if we've never seen them before? perhaps by moving along there will be an answer.... didn't the whole " island of hobbitts " thing give us all a little idea how they figure these things? Is it really your point that there can be no conclusive decision? On one hand, your knowledge is such that you have an answer for giant skeletons, on the other you don't have the proper training to decide...... but you are quick to point to " shaky conclusions ".... is it possible to consider such things without resorting to the consideration of " shaky conclusions "? It was once a " shaky conclusion " that the world was round..... tightened the sphincters of many a sailor for a long time.... .... with no exploration of the unknown there can be no new discoveries...

This, i feel, is the most accurate idea yet.... but for much different reasons....
