Well I don't think its black or white. I do believe some things are divine will. I don't believe everything is. At this point, its not a matter of what I believe. It's a matter of what my husband believes. I completely agree. And I've encouraged him to meditate as a start to working through it. But in the end I can only give encouragement. Until he makes the effort, I cannot help more than what I already do.

You assume that your will can overpower the divines. Which I do not believe is the case. Example: My husband is bipolar and has arthritis throughout most of his body. What that means? He's in constant pain and has rapid mood swings. I am an energy healer. I have tried to help him. And while I had mild success I cannot do anything on a permanent level. Other healers have tried as well with the same results. He believes this is his "cross" to bear. That he is being tested or punished for the past. I cannot change his mind otherwise. So until he works it out with himself and the divine I cannot intervene. I can change the flow, take the hurt into myself for awhile. But in the end doing that only hurts both of us.

Fawzo is quite right. There are those that have the power and an itch to use it. These person(s) usually end up contriving reasons to do spells and eventually end up spiraling out of control. And there are those that have the power and no desire to use it. Only a need when it arrises. And like Fawzo said, these persons tend to have more reverence for the divine and nature. Just remember, that no matter how much you learn, there is always more.

Update: They confirmed today that he had a stroke. Their not sure if the clot will ever leave his eye. They will be doing more tests later this week.

Well I never thought I'd ask for prayers for this specifc man. He's my 2nd least favorite person on this earth. For reasons I won't talk about. But he's my husbands father. And because of him I ask it. He was recently in the hospital because he has several blood clots in his eyes. They are worried he may have an anurism(sp?) or stroke. He's on a high dose of asprin to thin his blood. Hopefully that works. Please keep him in your thoughts/prayers.

lol. Your actually close. my company is contracted with the government. So while I'm technically not a state worker, I'm doing their work anyway.

With my new job since I do not need brain cells to do it I listen to audio books. Right now I'm listening to the Expected one by Kathleen McGowan. I enjoy Dianna Gabaldon books and a few other sci fi/romance books

I didn't actually watch it all. (Getting tired). But other than at the beginning everyone seems to be a bit scattered it looks like a normal ritual. The coven I join up with sometimes would normally be outside too. But weather doesn't always permit that. I see they did come together in a circle after awhile though sitting. Each coven will do things differently. It doesn't make it less than any other covens rituals. The personal touches are what I think make a huge difference in the end result.

Sorry lol.. But in my opinion it wasn't the greatest. It has it's good points and it's bad .

Went to see X-Men 3. We just got back. I didn't like it as much as the other 2. It has it's good points and its bad though.. The beast was right on. They did very good recreating his character. ArchAngel plays a very little part. I was a bit disappointed about that Jean Gray I was very disappointed with! They didn't put the effects of the phoenix like in the 80s series. She hardly did anything at all really. Except for destroy a island. Jean kills Cyclops early on in the movie. Wolverine kills Jean at the end. Xavier is killed but his consciousness is transferred to another person. They kind of meshed different story lines together which I didn't like. If they had stuck with one storyline they would have done a much better job. Overall I give it 3 out of 5 stars..

I'm not sure if I have it on dvd or not.. I have so many movies I don't remember what I do have and what I don't.

I'll wait till I can rent it through Netflix

Yeah Im not much into war movies either but Lance wanted me to watch a movie with him. I couldn't stand it the way they acted...
