  1. Very correct. I'm an energy healer BTW. My healing is very much effected by will and thoughts. If the person I am healing is unwilling to allow the energy to flow then I can't force it. If for some reason I have an abhorrence to the person (Maybe they make me uncomfortable or I feel that they are not a good person) I cannot force myself to heal them. That being said, I can't perform miracles. My healing is normally just pain relief. And sometimes that is only brief. When I do it, I focus on the aura. I connect with it through my hands. I see not with my eyes but with my mind where the aura is "bad". Sweeping away these dark spots and replacing them with bright white light will effect their overall health. Of course it can be targeted to a specific area as well. Removing headaches is pretty easy. Though I get a killer headache afterward. So if I do a healing, I consider it a gift to whomever I've performed it on. Because afterward I always feel whatever pain they have until I release it.
  2. Not true. At least not for me. Yes we have our beliefs about what happens after death. But we also focus more on our life and how we live each day in harmony with our Lord and Lady. So we focus on both, not just one. (Duality)
  3. Maybe thats why I was thinking of my grandfather last night. Makes since. It was the cause of him going to war after all. I agree it should never be forgotten nor repeated. Unforunately most of us can only make sure one of those don't happen anytime soon.
  4. The best writer always uses life experience when creating.
  5. Hm.. No particular words. I remind myself I am me, and I am great. If I'm feeling down no matter where I am or what I'm doing I can imagine light coming into me from above and feel hugged by the goddess. And I'm energized and loved.
  6. I hope everyone had a blessed and safe Halloween/Samhain. Sorry guys. No orgies with demons going on at my house. And the bones of those tasty babies get stuck in your teeth.
  7. It has been my personal experience that it is never wise to discuss religion in the workplace. Unless of course you work at a church or something. But otherwise, it just causes more trouble than its worth. As far as legalities are concerned, I worked for the most racist, discrimitory man I've ever known for 7 yrs. If a manager wants you gone for a certain reason, he can always come up with one. Even if that was not his real reason. No employer is ever going to come right out and claim they are firing you because of your beliefs. He's going to wait till your late one day. Or your work isn't up to usual snuff. And then bingo your out the door.
  8. If you could step into a book and live out the life of one main character of any book, who would you be?
  9. hm... The outlander series by Dianna Gabaldon and all her books that continue that story. I hope that counts as one otherwise it would just suck. Anything by Christine Feehan as well. And I've just discovered Sherrilyn Kenyon's books as well. Acheron is my fav.
  10. I could. But then you'd have to pay me a salary for the rest of my life. Because EDS certainly wouldn't be doing it after they found out. lol.
  11. Thats not an upgrade darlin. Thats certainly a downgrade.
  12. Eh. I have access to a lot of sensitive info. They are just making sure I can't print/save or share it in any way.
  13. I'm at work again. And I cannot check the version because they have those tools blocked from me.
  14. Haha. Well I think my husband is convinced. But then I cannot use the same methods of convincing here can I. Thanks Murph.
  15. As pointed out in the other thread my profile lists me as male now. Its showing two spots to put your gender in. I made a screenshot so you can see.
  16. I'm home now and I was wrong earlier I am running IE8. Options are not working here.
  17. I just tried to change my gender but its listed twice.
  18. After all these years you've finally uncovered my secret. I'm really a man in a womans suit. lol
  19. Ok I'm at work right now and its working. I'm not certain what version of IE this is. But at home I'm almost positive I'm running IE7.
  20. If I try to use any of the options such as bold, italic, underline, smilies, or spell check they do not work. Thats not a full list of issues. But the basics. Also I posted this in another topic but I'll put it here. If I use fast reply box and I click out of it after putting my text in, then click back in the box my text disappears.
  21. The best option is to talk with your local County clerk.
