  1. ~ Thank you Turns. Yeah, I know, I ought to think before I post. {But, "And the next time you see it will have new legs With which to walk a different way." - That gave me the giggles. I don't know why, but chicken legs popped in my head! I know, I'm odd. Sorry.} ~ Thank you Flower! That definately is a more beautiful piece than I burped out, huh?
  2. ~ "Gently, wet sky of rain on green grass bleeds." Very nice! Just wondering... Is there a specific reason you wrote it in that manner?
  3. Just because you ignore me and won't play anymore, I want to be obnoxious now! Gonna poke ya in that tickly spot or pinch you in that place I never forgot : And yeah, want to see that face when you yell Owww! I'm just playing, smiling, see? There's a giggle just before... *gack* sometimes at what comes out! I'm never sure about what I may type. OK... 'Just because...' Anyone have a poem they can craft starting with that? Jump in & do your best worst or iffy!
  4. ~ Ah jeesh... Again? Thinking about something is how I start doing it. Once it's set in my head then I can just do it. I've been thinking about arrangement, placement, grouping, all that fun stuff.
  5. ~ Thank you Daniel! A lot of people keep asking me that. I'm thinking about it. {I do have quite a few here...}
  6. The magic only happens when it's raining. Like tears of joy that glimmer so bright... The grey skies open wide, releasing the light, casting the dark aside. Our eyes are gifted with vibrant light... The magic only happens when it's raining.
  7. ~ Just a few... American & shorter form {not syllable counted} snow dusting the trees gentlly soft and soon too much the baker's gone mad <snow dusting trees soft and soon too much baker gone mad> slanted light shimmers like dragonflies flittering across the water <slanted light dragonflies flitter across the water> small green frogs appear so summer has come again trees and roads are green <green frogs summer has come trees and roads are green> {green are trees and roads? Just an alternate thought.}
  8. ~ I don't mind if you use it... I hope it's a lovely ceremony & I'd be honored if it is a part!
  9. Catching me when I fall, and picking up the pieces that slip through your fingers... Putting me back together, like a scattered puzzle with parts bent and lost... I am only completed by you.
  10. ~ I'm sorry Fawzo! I didn't intend to distress you... It's a multiple-choice piece. Most poetry is like that actually. Whatever meaning you find in a poem or painting or sculpture, that's what it means. Your meaning is all that's important when you read or see the work. Did you enjoy it? The flow of the words, the imagery... that's generally what poetry is about. Quite often there isn't a specific meaning, or perhaps many different ones. I know, poetry can be confusing. But all that really matters is if you enjoy what you read or not. I'm still irked at that docent at the Museum of Modern Art L.A. that presumed to explain what the artist meant! How dare anyone come along & 'translate' another's vision? It was created to connect, not to be defined. Personally, Picasso gives me gas. Monet, I adore. That's why it's called 'art', it's open for interpretation by the one that enjoys it.
  11. So you cuddle & huddle and hide all your anger being the sweet one, the kind one and disguise all that anger with soft words and generosity when your soul screams for vengeance and your tongue burns for curses you stay sweet you stay quiet you stay good
  12. ~ Don't know Fawzo, could be if that's what you see... Just words, that's all.
  13. So sweetly soft and richly colored this silken ribbon you bind me with. Such gentle words and loving eyes, I'm wrapped within this place you have chosen for me. I may struggle but I'm bound by love as we are joined by breath and word. So neither are free, but both bound and wrapped around by this sweetly soft and richly colored silken ribbon binding.
  14. It's a small itty-bitty drop, Sorry it fell on your sleeve! ... I'll just leave. It's that song about love gone wrong, always tends to make me weep! ... I should sleep. But it seems like that song won't stop, And I guess not the the drinks here! ... Just a tear. It fell where it didn't belong, That drop upon your sleeve there! ... She won't care.
  15. ~ I understand the stance against abortion. I understand the part about suicide murderers. But Tess, you didn't address addiction, self-mutilation, or personal suicide. There are people that desire to harm themselves {not others} in a variety of ways. If someone has just months or weeks left to exist in excrutiating pain, must they spend that time screaming? Or can they exit this life early with afore-thought? Just wondering...
  16. ~ Yep, Christopher Walken is an eye magnet every time in every thing... He would be a charismatic demonic presence, huh? ... OK. I know. I'm 'jacking' now, but what actor do you think could portray such with vim & vigor? Christian Slayter's creepy. {He's been doing the 'Jack Nicholson' thing for years, & he's younger} Vincent Denofrio {sp}? Jonny Depp seems able to do just about anything, so maybe.
  17. ~ Oh Corey! You like Rednexx too??? 'Sexx & violins' is kinda hard to find, but WoooW! {It's sorta European-Techno American-Country. 'Black-eyed Joe' is a kicker! It'll definately alter the mood of a room... & yes, well done.}
  18. ~ I've moarned vehicles. That '57 Chevy I lived in & that took me to a new life. That '74 Dodge that 'The Good Guys' killed by destroying the entire electical harness {*grrr!*} ... Memories are created & imprinted in places. Sometimes those places are vehicular. I still have dreams of the house I lived in til 3; of my Kindergarten yard; of the house I grew up in. What, no one else imprinted strongly with places and/or things?
  19. A shaky candle shivers and lights spots probably better left alone. The darkness has grown and so have those over-grown thoughts. In big boots some little hurts tromp about behaving as if they matter. Still, the tremors stay after long past when the candle's snuffed out.
  20. ~ No problem Hon... Ya got a lot of votes! Not a lot of comments... Wonder why? Now that's an interesting question, huh? Is it because they don't want to say why? Is it the sexy or the scary or the ____ ? & you did forget Legends with {Crap! Can't remember his name right now. The big horny bad boy ... He was Frankenfurter in 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' too. My filing system is poor. Sorry.}
  21. Reason or rhyme I may not have. The words just fall from my fingertips Like the sap from a broken tree. I can't much see what they may say Until I read what has been written. I'm just as confused as you by these thoughts, They tumble behind in my mind. The scent, the sight, the touch, the taste... All life is so scattered within.
