I couldn't agree more Bro Kaman. A few months ago I tried from outright silly to ubber serious to get some interest and well, for a few hours...meh. I don't know, it really seems that people's opinions concerning news headlines, gun ownership and use and/or myriad of other topics are what most Members seem to delve into. When someone posts a dedicated post of their views on Spiritual matters, or religious, a few obliging responses seem to be sufficient. The other things I mentioned seem to go on and on and on and on and on and on. Just about the time one would think all has been said on those topics someone adds another perspective of the same thing and it goes on and on and on and on and on....and then a short break and it continues to go on and on and on and on.... and oh! Did I mention how the other topics seems to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on? But anyway, I made a note on the 8th to post this "next week" for a couple of reasons, but I think 4 days is close enough...one reason was to allow anyone else with 'interest' a chance to respond and two, just to see if there was any interest...guess that question got answered! So when ya up for the Hot Seat???! Blessings,

Well at least we can assume there is a woman under the burkha! With BS...her initials tell the story....in full. No, you're absolutely correct, I find zero redeeming quality in Ms. Spears, never have and she's a long way to go before I will. Yes, opinionated , might even be prejudice...so? Guess she doesn't like it when others treat her how she treats most, eh?

What Would You Do/not Do For A Million Dollars?

I'm afraid I'd have to side with those that said... "Put the money on the table!" Hypothetical and real offers affect me completely different. If we are playing the “What if?” game, I could come up with a zillion zingers for sure, but if you had a briefcase with 10,000 Franklin$ in front of me I would have to suggest my morals, ethics, social norms, personal preferences would be greatly influenced by my level of desperation at the moment...and everyone can climb down off the big, bright, white horse if you think you wouldn't at least be tempted concerning any number of things regarding your personal moral sense. Br. Devon mentioned his 4 months of homelessness and destitute conditions, my wife spent 5 months in like situations, myself 7 months (long before we were married) and I/we know a number of folks that have done from 2 months, to one friend, several years. I highly suggest living in like circumstances, for a minimum of 3 months before you answer this or any other question concerning your personal morals and ethics and what you would or would not do for that money. Br. Devon also listed an admirable set of helps for society that I would be inclined to do similar as well as extend several programs for animals. Invest, reinvest the returns would only be 'smart'. -
Oh my! Where does he ever get such ideas??? Sounds like your little man has a very bright and industrious future ahead of him! It's a great thing that you have allowed him to discover fiscal responsibility on his own and in a manner for which he will only continue to mentally grow, learn creatively and express himself. Good job Mom!
