  5. Besides you two sounding eerily similar... ...the best place to start is your City Clerk's Office. They can give you the lowdown on all local ordinances, licenses and requirements for starting a congregation. You can get started and then look into the 501 c3 (tax exempt) status for clergy/churches. There are a few differences in that statute from state to state so make sure to comply with all IRS and local, state and federal requirements before appling for that status. There are some good articles here on the forum about that...I'll see if I can find them and will post for ya....note HERE Blessings of Peace,

  10. Ya know, I'll have to ask my Mom. I was only a kid when Dad had it taken out and all I truly remember first hand, was how he said he "felt so much better" and for a couple of years, really wasn't quite so unbearable to be around. He was far more at peace with himself and was "happy" like I had never known him to be prior to that. Medically, physiologically? Hmmm...good question, but I also know a fellow I worked with that didn't have a spleen and he was certainly no clean freak or germ nut...actually quite a disgusting person hygiene and habit wise. Best advice....follow what your doc tells you!! Our thoughts, prayers and Blessings still stand! Take care, Al
  11. Many Blessings of Healing, Strength and Peace, brother Stormson. Our thoughts and Prayers are certainly with you during your recovery, and always. Al & Kay ...and don't worry...minus the spleen...life may even get better for ya in the long run...it sure did my Dad years ago!
  12. But Holy Cats! Did you see the size of the fleas in the upper right corner of the picture!! Devil fleas for sure!!.....ooops......now that I've put my new readers on...not fleas at all now are they?

  23. Hmm..it seems that one return post did get "lost" here from a couple weeks ago in answer to Nestingwave's comments and questions. I read a good analogy just this morning on medium-ships, channeling and our physical presence here on Earth, so I'll post that in place of the one lost. Much like a bunch of grapes (all the individual and sects of society/humanity) that when they are still on the vine (Universal Consciousness) are vibrant, full of Life given "juice" etc. The "medium" when coming to this earthly plane is like an individual grape, separated from the bunch and eventually turns into a raisin and passes. The moisture from within the grape (spiritual essence and ethereal abilities) evaporates, returning to the ethers and collective conscious while the physical part remains behind and goes through the physical cycles of birth, maturity and death. Naturally, a pretty loose interpretation, but I could see how a great swami, or teacher, could use such terms to describe the different aspects of medium-ship....no wonder those "California Raisin" guys were so popular or was this the encoded message to the masses?! Become enlightened and return to the Source of All Things?! Blessings,
  24. I've had to do both in my life on a personal, microcosmic level. As a whole global society though, through pollution and overpopulation, we have effectively changed the environment (i.e.; global warming) and not necessarily for the better. I recently read an article in a magazine at the doctor's office that claimed just the body heat of 7 billion people is being looked at as a contributing factor to global warming. Something in the range of approximately 1/10th of 1 degree Fahrenheit. Not that this will effect any great change by itself, but combined with other elements of global warming debacles and we're doomed! On another angle, just because we can change our environment does not mean we should. Personally, I believe adaptation to rather than changing of the environment, is far more acceptable of a human endeavor.....and, me thinks we be smart enough to be able to do it. Blessings of Peace,
  25. Really listen to the dialog presented on "Border Patrol" TY show. The words the agents use is something straight out of an Orwellian Society based on fear and mistrust. 1.) Legalizing marijuana in the US (ten plant, grow your own statute) could shut down over half the income to drug cartels and empty nearly 60% population of US jails....making room for those who've committed real crimes. Make the selling of any drug, over an 1/8 oz. (including pot) a life sentence. 2.) Make the process of those seeking work in the US a working process...it shouldn't take 2, 3 or 5 years for a Mexican National, without a criminal record, to get a work visa. I don't see where it should take more than a couple of days with the technologies we have today. Even if the US had to supply and install/train the technologies in Mexico to do so. 3) Treaties or whatever need to be in place that Mexican Nationals charged and convicted of the crime of bringing drugs into the US do their time in Mexican jails. No cakewalk "cable TV and 3 hots and a cot" US jails. It's time we got tough on the rough stuff and more accepting of the other stuff....but the current system does not work. Blessings of Peace,
