saw a sign

Recommended Posts

On my way home from the store today, I saw an advertisement sign on the side of the street kind of like the politicians use, it read "for sale clean dirt".

Saw those all the time in rural South Carolina. Another variation was "Clean Fill Dirt- Cheap"  It always made me feel bad for the suckers who were getting overcharged for dirty dirt.

The serious answer is a lack of rocks and other debris. A better answer is how often it swears.

Assuming from Trump's repetitious comments, I'd be thinking that "clean coal" would be worth more than clean dirt. ;)

I mean.....you dont want dirty dirt.....its hard to work with....good clean dirt that someone wants to get rid of should be inspected....its like STDS....digging in someones clean dirt could yield bugs........poor dirt conditions......not healthy for young sprouts....you might want to throw a little manure on it to get rid of unwanted germs and progressing to pasteurization....I know exactly what your feeling

Dirty dirt has its place, though ... if you just want to fill a hole in the ground, why pay extra for clean dirt?

Unless of course you're in favor of supporting the local economy by helping pay the salaries of the dirt cleaners.

One might also consider utilizing a DIY Dirt Cleaning Kit. Or, one could visit FreeDirt.com where you can buy, sell or give away dirt. A sort of dirty eBay ...
