The Vision of the ULC Online Forum
We are operating with a clear understanding that each participant interacting on the ULC Online Forum is a valued and respected individual, and is a human being who is worthy and deserving of receiving treatment that is equitable and kind. This extension of goodwill is a foundational tenet reciprocated among all participating members, staff and administration consistently to the best of our ability.
We aim to continue cultivating an environment that delivers an exceptional experience to our guest visitors and registered members by holding the church doctrine in practice: “Do only that which is right.” The precept is held throughout the course of discussions, as well as through the processes of personal discovery, and in the light of religious freedom especially.
All who contribute to the betterment of the online forum community shall feel welcome and experience a sense of encouragement to gather and participate civilly in this space. Our contributors will enjoy a sense of belonging - in a community that has pride in its reputation for being genuinely dutiful and for embodying the best and most honorable of our personal values and reflecting them outwardly. We believe that these qualities build a legacy that is exemplary to all who hold the doctrine as meaningful, and honors all ministers who perform services on behalf of Universal Life Church.
The ULC Online Forum Mission Statement
The ULC Online Forum serves as an official location where ordained ministers of Universal Life Church can connect with one another. Here, ministers interact and exchange a wealth of useful knowledge, educational information and share experiences about the duties and functions a ULC minister serves.
The forum is intentionally designed as a setting for sharing sociable discussion. It is an establishment where ULC ministers can congregate and experience a sense of community and fellowship within our church organization. The environment furnishes an avenue to network, create relationships and make connections with people who share similar aspirations.
The forum also offers opportunities for each member to explore the beliefs of one’s self and others through interactive discussion in pursuit of personal expansion. The perspectives and experiences of real individuals located around the world is a valued feature of the forum. Accordingly, members learn on a more genuine and human level, rather than relying solely on accounts and references found in literary publications.
