i see it as more like sarcasm.here i thought dan was a 45 fan. and dan,i dis agree with only atheists can post.you among others have, sometimes setting up a potential argument between yourself and jonathon,or pete;whichever is present at the time.maybe social distancing need be applied to posts also? -

Witches and Pagans
mark 45 replied to Jonathan H. B. Lobl's topic in Earth/Nature-Based & Indigenous Religions
to my observation i find that witches and pagans are two different groups of people.most witches are atheists,as most pagans are not. i have no problems with how they identify,or practice. -
to save you some time,no state allows the use of"doctorate"or "doctor"on their government issued id.some states,it is illegal to use the term doctor unless you are an md,do,dds, ect.

although i would agree with you about buddhism, some of the concepts may not translate for the et's the same way they do for humans. i'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that taoism would be the better bet.but that is based on my limited knowledge. -
Master of Chaplaincy

this is not the seminary forum.that is at : https://www.ulcseminary.org/forum/ be advised that the last i knew, amy was on leave of absence, and i do not know who is taking over.i just know it is a very slow process. if your reading the instructions on submission, there are 2 different places to submit your final lessons.i've never heard of a help desk, but hey,i don't know everything. otherwise i wish you the best in your studies. -

that is handled by seminary.who is currently reading them i don't know.best bet is to contact the bookstore and see what they have to say.if your going thru monastery that is an entirely different ball game. -

sorry jonathon, but the sarcasm was over shadowed by whatever it was that you were trying to say. maybe it's just a senior moment(actually quite a few of them strung together),but i don't understand. -
Is the death penalty morally right?
mark 45 replied to Pete's topic in Monotheist Theologies & Scriptures
in"escape from new york",when you were being sentenced, you had one of 2 options:a.permanent jail time in new york, with no chance to ever return, and b.suicide(your choice how).there was a third option:trying to escape,in which case you were blown out of the water. -

mark 45 replied to Jonathan H. B. Lobl's topic in Freethought, Secularism, No Religion
do you mean the aclu?humanists(at least here)are aliening with atheists to fight for"separation of church and state"and are kept quite busy(by"christians"no less).beyond that, they give seminars explaining who they are and what they're about.no secret agendas. the only confusing thing i find is the secular humanists vs spiritual humanists vs humanists. -
tribal will let us start our own section if we can't find one that works(i think there is one, just don't know the name).being a mod there,i think i can help. i cannot get into ukulc at all.i keep getting a message that it is not secure, and bit defender will not let me access it.strangely enough, this site is listed as not secure,as is the seminary.but i can access those.

just out of curiosity i read your post.all it proves is that she was an idiot, while hurting others, she didn't get injured.having worked the streets for 23 years as an emt,i saw this type of thing happen way to many times. does it prove that your god exists, and allows stupidity to continue?quite frankly i agree with frank zappa:there are only two things in the universe that are inexhaustible;hydrogen and human stupidity, and i'm not sure about hydrogen. -
