Argonious
Here are the words to a song about it I like and the link to hear it.Theres no time for us,Theres no place for us,What is this thing that builds our dreams,Yet slips away from us.Who wants to live forever,Who wants to live forever, .....?Theres no chance for us,Its all decided for us,This world has only one sweet momentSet aside for us.Who wants to live forever,Who wants to live forever, .....?Now touch my tears with your lips,Touch my world with your fingertips,And we can have forever,And we can love forever,Forever is our today.Who wants to live forever,Who wants to live forever, .....?Who waits forever anyway?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3l2gAwfhrw
Qryos
~ Very pretty poetry, Thank you!Would I want to live forever? No. Uh-uh. No way.I don't understand people that do.
Decline
I wouldn't mind giving immortality a try. I would want to know what "brand" of immortality we are talking about though. Immortal with the choice to opt out (violently if necessary) if I got bored in a couple thousand years would be nice.Nice lyrics btw... I loved that movie and thought that Queen did a really great soundtrack for it.
Fawzo
No after gawdzilliontrillionquadblipbillion x gawdzilliontrillionquadblipbillion years consciousness would be torture. Maybe if I could spend long periods of times as rocks or something might help me pass the time.
JimBob
I voted Maybe. No, I would not like to live forever in this same body. The pains of old age aren't very pleasant. But! If I could be continuously renewed then yes, I think that this should go on forever.(I joke sometimes that I am thinking about becoming a Buddhist so I can be reincarnated and do it all over again, and again, and ... , until I get it right.)Peace & Love! Bel
Nah, being the same person forever would get boring. At least when I get sent back to try again I get to do it as somebody else.

Argonious
If you don't want to live forever then i supose you could sing this ....... Deliver me, out of my sadness.Deliver me, from all of the madness.Deliver me, courage to guide me.Deliver me, strength from inside me.All of my life I've been in hiding.Wishing there was someone just like you.Now that you're here, now that I've found you,I know that you're the one to pull me through.Deliver me, loving and caring.Deliver me, giving and sharing.Deliver me, the cross that I'm bearing. All of my life I was in hiding.Wishing there was someone just like you.Now that you're here, now that I've found you,I know that you're the one to pull me through.Deliver me,Deliver me,Oh deliver me.All of my life I was in hiding.Wishing there was someone just like you.Now that you're here, now that I've found you,I know that you're the one to pull me through.Deliver me,Oh deliver me.Won't you deliver me. Crzyme
I would like to live forever, and i would also not like to live foreveryes the aspect of never dying, of never loosing the organic part of being alive, feeling, experiencing, and living life would be fantastic, the things you would learn and see and do, the people you would meet, know and love would be awesome, yet at the same time those people would die and leave you still living and that would be the part that would make me say no, so it is a balance of yes and no not sure I could choose either answer, but the answer is already chosen. We will live forever, only in spirit form, nothing organic only energy but it will never be as good as living in the physical world, able to touch and be touched, hear and be heard, see and be seen. Rev T Hedberg
No, I don't want to live forever. I guess I wouldn't appreciate the wonders of life as much if the contrast of death didn't exist... in my case... waking up, looking down and wiggle my toes. SilverRose
Prove it.well, I don't know the person I previously replied to at all, and you not very well, & would not be presumptuous enough to comment on other ppl's lives, so I can only speak from my own: if, given the way my life has been thusfar, and especially the goings-on of the last few years, and with nothing "good" or "positive" ahead to logically look forward to, if I can hold this point of view, anybody can:even in the worst of times, in the most **ty godawful hopeless situations where it seems like something like 'hope' would be flat-out foolish, there is SOMETHING there- some little hidden unseen something to uncover, hold on, and build on- and from that, you can move forward.
