Sad for who. I have listened to your torturous arguments and it has led me from liberal Christian and on to agnosticism and more closer to fully fledged atheist. I find your viewpoints foolish and uneducated and even arrogant. I am now not interested. There comes a time when banging my head against a brick wall of stupid arguments that it is a relief to stop. As I understand. Everything did not come from nothing. It came from energy. The more concentrated the wave the more matter is formed until it reaches a mass for the big bang. Another theory is that, our universe collided with another universe and that concentrated the wave of energy. Either way , it makes more sense then genesis and the creation of days before the sun was formed. The light for the night "the moon" is not because the moon gives off light but because it poorly reflects the suns light. Then there is the 13+ billion light years of space to light the night sky. It seems to me that faith is believing in something that has no logical basis of existence, you cannot see or sense with your senses or conceive with the mind, and smackes against all known laws of reality. It cannot be be proven by logic or science. That is not logical in whatever way you hack it Dan.

Dan if the truth of logic is not recognisable to a non believer it aint logical. Logic requires an argument built on facts. Beliefs are not facts. That is why they are called beliefs and not facts.

A theory is made when it is supported by demonstrable proof and stands until a more accurate theory explains things better. The bible has no demonstrable proof and is supported by nothing more than the religion itself. Hence, in religion you get circular arguments like the bible is the word of god because it says it is and the only proof it has is that it says it is. That is not scientific or to be placed on the same plateau as scientific theories. The bible is not scientific and contradicts all that science stands on.
