Please pray for my Mum. She had recently been diagnosed with COPD with a touch of Emphysemia. However, the doctors knew she had COPD back in 2006 and with held the information from her until recently. Not only that, she suffers from a blood clotting disorder and had blood clots in her lungs three times already which killed part of her lung. The smoking didn't help either. She told me this evening that if the doctors would have told her back then what she knows now then she would have stopped smoking a long time ago. Today we went to the office of the lung specialist and they prescribed her new medicine. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover the rescue inhaler and daily treatment. They were of a special kind with some kind of equipment to go with it so she wouldn't have an allergic reaction orally. Also, please pray for Stormson for he's been having issues with his ex girlfriend and needs to find a place to stay. Please pray for my brother so that he will be in good enough health for us to do some legal paperwork together and I can find him the treatment he needs. Thanks. Goddess bless!

So, I was talking with my neighbour and my uncle and they think the best thing for me to do is to draw a comic book. I've already got a plot sequence and chapter synopses written out, so I know what I want my story to be about. And I've been obsessed with these characters I've created since 2007. On Friday I got a phone call from my Publishing Consultant from Xlibris. I called her back today and we talked a while. She said that if I choose a package or create my own publishing package that I could make a deposit and pay in installments if it's too expensive at first. I could also choose a cheaper package to begin with and then upgrade later on before I submit my manuscript(s). I'm not going to upload my images on an Image Host because anyone can steal them from there. Instead, I'll just link you to where they're at. I wasn't too happy with page one because I suck at drawing buildings. I'm going to do that over. Page two didn't look too bad, I don't think. Asked my friend from New York and she said she didn't like the artstyle at all, so no support there. Okay, I'm feeling a little uneasy about my neighbour's request. He(being ordained by the ULC) asked me if I could use his name to order a Ministry Package, not for himself but for his friend who isn't ordained. I would love to do this for him but the whole thing makes me feel uneasy. He said he's known this guy for 30+ years and can trust him. However, I don't know if it would be right to print out an order form so they can get him the ministry package when instead we could probably get him an information packet about the ULC. What are the rules that apply to this kind of situation?

Okay, so I told you guys that I was going to sing Utsukushi Hoshi once I figured out the mic situation. Turns out, the mic on my laptop works perfectly fine! I have to warn you, this is my first saved recording of me singing since I was four-years-old. I would appreciate some feedback about whether I should continue singing, ways I can improve.. If I sound terrible, please tell me. EDIT: By the way, it gets kind of loud on some parts.. Don't know how to fix that. Also, I don't know how to fix the video where I can get karaoke.. Kind of new to the Windows Movie Maker dealie.

The quote above is something I feel that I fully understand. Not in the sense that I understand where I'm going or what I'm meant to do(I've only completed this very little) but what it truly means. I really cherish this saying. And wow, this one was really powerful. Why ask for crutches when you can stand on your own? To believe that you are less than another and to fully depend on them for knowledge, makes you their slave. Get up, walk, and think for yourself. Learning from people is one thing but depending on them is another.

Okay, I've been working on this story since 2007. In the beginning it was just something cute to come up with to joke about with my friends. Pretty soon it became a hard-core fan fiction of Fullmetal Alchemist. While messing with it, I created tons of original characters with their own back-stories, ect. Pretty soon, all the original-ness started overshadowing the plot of Fullmetal Alchemist and I was encouraged to write an original story. So, I did that. One day, I started making a portfolio of all the stuff that had to do with the story. From drawings, to plot sequences and chapter synopses. I know exactly how I want this story to go; from start to finish. I brought the portfolio to church to show the college youth pastor and ask for her opinion. Ended up I met this little Asian girl that came from New York. We were talking and while I was moving my bags over to where she was sitting, she asked to see my portfolio. Looking through it, she gasped and asked, "This is beautiful. Do want it published?" My simple reply was: "Yes." "I might know some people in New York that can get that done for you." We exchanged phone numbers, she got married to a guy that was a regular in the college youth program and moved in with him, and started discussing publishing options. I'd already looked at four publishers and spoke with two on the phone. Then I started talking with a local author(she sees me at her work, all the time!) and she suggested to not go with Xlbris because they charge too much and do crappy covers.. But to go to Publish America first because they charge the least. Also, from talking with them on the phone, I'm encouraged to design my own cover and to have illustrations in my book. Okay, the only problem now is this; Sitting down to write. I love writing. I don't have a deadline. I'm at a road block; I have so many things going on, like trying to redo my house(it's a disaster!) and figuring out ways to pay off my tuition at a local college.. I don't have a job so that frees up some time.. I just need encouragement and motivation to complete this project. Help? lol

Crap! ...It took me almost ten years to figure out As above, so below; as within, so without meant, through a bunch of studying and searching.. This meditation thing might take a minute. LOL EDIT: Searching didn't help. Neither did studying. It was through experience I actually learned it.

Okay, I have a really really big problem. I cannot settle down long enough to meditate. I mean the kind of meditating that requires everything to have silence. Your environment, your thoughts, everything. Is it possible to meditate when you're listening to music? I find when I listen to music I am concentrating very hard on my creative thoughts(because I'm a writer and an artist) and usually out of "meditating" or "daydreaming" like a mug, I get more done. Would what I do be a form of meditation or is it really about quieting your core? 'Cause when I tried to meditate in the past.. I always got impatient or aggravated about whether I "did it right" or not. Today, I know that there is no real "right" or "wrong" way to do it.. but back then I was just so impatient and I wanted to get to the cool benefits without actually experiencing it..

Right now, I am re-reading The Secret by Ms. Rhonda Byrne. A very nice book, I think. But I had completely stripped those teachings from my mind when I had re-converted over to Christianity, thinking it to be some sort of "new age" thingy-bobber and then when I started re-reading it just recently.. I realized that I had been using The Secret this entire time! Which is why I had so many blessings in my life. I was using it and not even realizing it! lol Though, I'd have to say it's a pretty good book. After this I'm going to be reading The Power by the same author and then read There's More To The Secret by another author of whom I've forgotten the name.. It's basically a Christian "analyzing" The Secret to either prove it real or to debunk it entirely. Are there any other books out there that refer to Law of Attraction? Also, I read one of the very first pages and it said this: As above so below; As within so without. And for the first time since I was sixteen-years-old(I had stumbled upon it through my studies of Wicca).. I finally get it. I finally know what it means! Woooooow~

Oh snap, I think I read that one in either 2005 or 2006.. Good book. (: Edit: I'm also reading a copy of Dead Sea Scrolls by Millar Burrows, The Book of Mormon, Women in the Bible by M.L. de Mastro and The Holy Bible which is the King James Version. I plan on buying a Geneva 1599 translation of the Bible. Heard things that it was like in tons of error compared to the original Geneva Bible but I think they're just saying that because they want the 1560 version to be the "authorized" version of it.
