  5. As a student and teacher of mythology, yes it is fascinating that mankind's mythology is so uniquely overlapping...different, yet so much the same. In Nordic mythos there is a story of Pleiades being the seven pearls of Freyja's necklace, one lost by Loki of course, to be found when mankind find their way again. Thank you To`na for yet another beautiful example of the many mythologies that bind us all together. Blessings of Peace,

  10. UPDATE: All in all we've recovered fairly well from this terrible invasion of our serenity. Not only have we replaced the missing items, thanks renter's insurance...sort of...$178 check and Kay is enjoying her new laptop and I bought a security system for all the doors and windows. I honestly thought that the "SecurityMan™" system would be a marginal piece of junk, but overall, it is a great value and of good quality. Though some of the components are made overseas, the assembly and packaging are done right here in the US at an extremely affordable price! (About $120 for the basic and $200 all together as I also got several extra sensors and motion detect's) A plus all the way around. So our home invasion cost us a bit of wrecked nerves, but in the end, a grand $ on the credit card (less $178 payment...hehe) solves numerous probs and a very Happy Solstice/Merry Christmas for Kay. The detective working the case called the other day and we found out there have been several more burglaries/invasions here in our complex. We did get a good laugh out this whole thing though...the timer/alarm that Kay uses for her meds, looks very similar to one of those fancy "Razor" smart phones...ya'know the $500 gotta have intrusion in life. Well, if the punks get to make calls, it would be surprising to us all in all a 5 year old laptop, with near dead battery after only a few minutes and a $10 timer are almost worth what the pack of cigs was worth! Overall, we're doing okay except for those noises in the middle of the night...which fortunately have mostly been the cats playing! Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes, it sure helps! Blessings of Peace,
  11. Välsignelser för fred! Blessings of Peace, to all
  12. Deborah...ah what time was that? I have a reason to ask and would just like to know if you recall for now...more later, but I think more than just you were affected by that "Spirit". For now, lets just say some angels have harps that play a very different tune than others. Blessings of Peace, (I'll start a new thread with answer as to not side track this one)

  19. I follow both of your rationales, however, none of us can possibly understand, fully, what the Creator has intended through His "big picture". While starvation, war, necrophilia, pedophile and cannibal may seem completely out of reason for us....are we so bold as to say we know the all powerful, all knowing, Omniscient Mind? I can't begin to believe so, being a puny Hu-man and all. Blessings,

  23. Bingo! Yahtzee! Uno! Brother Kaman, I too hope that no one takes what you said as inflammatory or offensive, as I certainly do not read it as such, merely an understanding and view point on your behalf. Whatever happens is as it should be, period. I agree with you wholeheartedly that many of us tire of the "is" - "is not" debate as to events in our lives. Unfortunately it is a cycle that many find difficult to break, including myself in years past. I firmly believe that if anyone subscribes to a Universal, Omniscient Being, then it is not up to mankind to determine what is "right" and what is "wrong" about "His" creations, regardless of who or how they interpret an ancient text of any origin. If one believes in "God", "The Collective Conscious" or the "Sugar Plum Fairy"...what difference does that make towards our primary objective of tolerance and allowances?? What fear is so great within the individual that they can not accept things as being the way they are suppose to be, just as they are?? I take this as being of great concern to myself and my wife very much so....were it not for modern medical technologies, neither of us would be here. We've both lived extremely difficult lives (physically/health wise) as a result of medical break-throughs that "saved" our lives at birth. So, we could use the argument that "God" didn't plan for us to live and our momentary presence was all that our life-cycle was suppose to be - to show our parents a lesson or teach a doctor a thing or two or? or? or??.... OR one could argue that since we were born at a time when these break-throughs were current, we were suppose to Live. However, we've both chosen to simply say "things are as they should be ...and... what is our lesson in all of this?" I won't bore you with the lists we've created, but four, (sometimes aggravating - ) children are top of the list! Who knows, maybe one of our grandchildren might solve the mystery of Life or discover a new vaccine or save a life from some other torment, or push the "Big Red Button"...who knows?!? But in the long run... things will just simply be what they are and that's all things will be!! Blessings of Peace,
