That's about as serious as my son and I took it.  The fact that Lucas allowed authors to write stories in his made up universe with the stipulation that they adhere to each others story line was something remarkable to me.  But not that remarkable...

I have formed three rules for living with a woman.

 

1.  Always leave the toilet seat down.  She cares.  Do it.

 

2.  Bring home the flowers, before she gets mad at you.  Otherwise, you feel romantic one night, and she wants to know -- What did you do!?  

 

3.  Take out the trash.  Women hate taking out the trash.  Don't ask why.  It's a man's job.  Just do it.

 

In other matters, I take my cue from the lions.  Killing is women's work.

Possibly.  Just as possible they believe in the tenets of the religion as well -- maybe not so much in "the Flying Spaghetti Monster" itself, but in the values and the message the community gives.  Like the ULC, for instance -- no centralized church dogma, only "that which is right."

Tenets?  Of Jediism?  What did you have in mind?  Not the war between the Light Side and the Dark Side of the Force.

I was speaking more of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in that quote -- but look at the tenets of Jediism, too:

They're not so much about the fictional/figurative war of the light and dark side from the movies, but more about the code that the Jedi from the movies ascribe to -- with some other additions to them, too, as I'm sure there's some individualistic license.  This is what I was referring to.
