Why do you think so few Ministers are interactive?

Random question with no right or wrong answer, I'm just asking for your personal theories...

With so many Ministers listed in directories and so many people claimed to have been ordained by ULC and all of its offshoots and radicals (like the Monastery); why do you think only a handful of people interact on the social media, forums and other platforms?

Some people are involved with other groups in addition to the ULC. I am a member of the The Druid Network and The Order of the Yew, so there are times when I may post there but not have time to post here too. I also work 40+ hours a week, and I might go a few days without posting. Sometimes I don't get involved in discussions because I don't feel as if I have a "dog in the fight." Many discussions are regarding Judeo-Christian themes and are not relevant to my religion since I am a Pagan. It's not that I feel uncomfortable or unwelcome to post on Christian topics. If I have something to add I will chime in. And of course there are those ministers who become ordained as a lark, or for the purpose of performing a particular wedding ceremony and then lose interest. Another factor could be fear of negative reactions. I am out as a Druid and Celtic Pagan at work and home, but others may not feel comfortable openly expressing their religious beliefs. Then there are also times when I am delayed in posting because I'm catching up with Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries

I have memberships in Facebook and Linked in.  I don't spend much time  at either.  When I am there, ULC does not come up.  I don't conceal ULC membership.  It doesn't come up.

Are there social media where the ULC would come up?  I don't know of any.

My question is more asking, how come things are so vacant: Vacant of members, and vacant of officiants.

I know that there are a few dedicated members. But of the hundreds-of-thousands that have been Ordained, I'm surprised there isn't even a hundred active members anywhere.

As for what other accounts there are, I've found:
Twitter - The only one with any recent content is the 'unofficial monastery'. The others, official ones, haven't posted in over a year.

Are you signing in on Tribal as Sister Salome?  I'm only a member.  If you like, I can ask the administrator to look into it.  My guess is that your application needs more time.  It's only a guess.

Everything?   I also have membership in an Agnostic Church.  It is Agnostic rather than interfaith like ULC.  I doubt it is what you are looking for.  Still, if you really mean "everything," let me know.      

I also have an Atheist Church group.  Not much life in it, but if you really mean "everything" ............

There are a few here who identify as Agnostic.  This might be a better place for you to explore Agnosticism, if that's what you want.

Yes, I did signup with the same username. I'm guessing that an Admin has to manually approve my membership. I can't even contact them or use the form without being approved. Very weird set up. But the forum seems active so I hope they activate me. If you could shoot an admin a message next time you stop over there, that would be awesome yes .

There are a few here who identify as Agnostic.  This might be a better place for you to explore Agnosticism, if that's what you want.

What's an Agnostic Church? Can you tell me about it? What I mean was I already signed up to the forums here and at the Seminary. I was previously signed up at the Monastary sites and other sites before ordination, just doing research, so I'm on there too. I followed all the social media and so on. Most social media is abandoned it seems, and most forums only have occasional threads. I feel like I'm flooding here. Comparatively, if I made several posts on other topical forums I'm on; they'd be lost in the sauce. LOL

I can't identify with Atheism. I am more of an Agnostic Gnostic HAHA.. Optimistic agnostic? Quantum Metaphysicist? I wish there was a modern movement like the old Fysiks group. But indeed tell me about the Agnostic Church thing.

My ordination is with the Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic.  AKA The Apathetic Agnostic Church.  The church motto is, "We don't know and we don't care."

What would you like to know?

First, a thought experiment.  Suppose that God exists.  What would change?  Suppose that God does not exist.  What would change?

A church is it's people.  It is an internet church, without a brick and mortar existence.  Community is where we find it or make it.  In this case, on line.

We have a sense of humor.  The Church is not a joke.  If you do a Google search for Agnostic Church, we are what turns up.  Now and then, I like to spend some time with the Godless.

Druids were the Pagan priests and scholars of the ancient Celtic people. Modern Druidry (as Druidism is referred to in many UK based groups) is a combination of Celtic Pagan beliefs coupled with a reverence for Nature:

As with Christianity, there can be a wide variation in Druid beliefs. I am a Celtic polytheist, but there are also duotheists and monotheists who follow a Druid path. Some revere Nature in general without acknowledging a deity at all. While I consider Druidry to be a Pagan religion unto itself, there are others who consider Druidry to be a philosophical path (like Rosicrucianism or Freemasonry) and study Druidry along side their practice of Christianity or other faiths.

The ULC asks nothing of its members. This means no promises of rewards for staying active, and no threats of punishment for walking away. It also means that any two random ULC ministers likely have nothing more to talk about than any other two strangers. This tends to favor smaller, more localized groups.

I think most of us are retired, work part time or cannot work at all for whatever reason.  Folks with full time jobs an something better to do with their time, usually don't get too involved with any forum on the net.
