  1. Good post. But something else just occured to me.... what was that reference right at the end when Yoda tells Obe Won something about finding some old or lost Jedi Master who had discovered something about immortality?? What was that about? Does that have something to do with when the elder Obe Won gave up in a fight with Vader he lived on in spirit?? I admit, I am not an expert on all this stuff, but this little diddy at the end of III intrigued me. Mike
  2. I agree with all of that except the last point. I always thought Jackson had no business in that movie....they should have had a no-name actor playing that part....to have a hollywood heavyweight like Jackson in such a small role, just seemed weird to me. It's not like Lucas needed a big name to sell the movie, afterall. Same with Jimmy Smits. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Doh! Bite your tongue! Obviously, I love the Mace Windu character, especially from watching the Clone War Cartoons which give a good story arch from Episode II to Episode III. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> clonewar cartoons? never heard of them.
  3. I didn't until you just mentioned it. Way cool how he tied that together.

  5. There is no question she died in childbirth. She was shown still pregnant at the funeral to hide the fact that she had given birth so that Vader would not go looking for the kids. There is no speculation there either. The droid said she lost the will to live and that if they wanted to save the babied they'd have to operate right away. It wasn't the best writing I've seen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She was fine until Aniken's first choke grip. I took from that that he knew not of his own strength, she never recoverd, and so he did in fact ultimately cause her death.
  6. The story outline was written in the 1970s. The people making those claims are grasping at straws. The story line may have been written then, but the film was made during the bush admin. No grasping needed especially when it is well known that Lucas is not a fan of bush. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I saw the movie, and considering the level of dedication Lucas has to the integrity of his Lovechild, I would have to consider the above statement absolutely ridiculous. Folks that see anti-Bush statements want to see anti-Bush statements. There were no parallels, only appropriate words to describe what was happening with the onscreen war, Senate, and the Sith Lord's disregard for democracy.
  7. Mind wipes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (read in a Yoda voice) a problem for me this too has been. but see it I will...I will.
  8. you say our cute mouse will do better when she squeels? Oh ya!!
  9. Trillion was way hot, I agree. One look into those eye's and I'd have been vaporized in Madagasgar.
  10. Your music definately does not suck. While I was busy kicking the leprichaun, I listened to all four of the available clips, and I liked them all. I wish I had that talent. I'ma big fan of the epic rock bands ('65-'85)....I would love to hear your serious rendition of one of those classic rock tunes... particularly, I think you'd be able to do any number of the acoustic CSN tunes.. Mike
  11. I just started a sci-fi called 'Open Pools'. Just finished Thomas Sowell's 'Applied Economics'. Before that I read 'The Riddle of St Leonards' which is I think book 5 of the Owen Archer medieval mystery series. Before that I read a biography of Ben Hogan. .......I usually read 1-2 books a month, an eclectic variety, one at time and v e r y s l o w l y.
