Mary was a dedicated friend and mentor and an unrelenting defender as a fellow Texas lawyer. She passed away Jan. 19 after battling COVID in the hospital for 6 weeks. Her remarkable, colorful life included working the trapeze in the circus, dancing and choreography during the Brat Pack days of Las Vegas, as well as 40+ years as a Texas attorney. She never, ever met a stranger. Her friends became her family and she’d never allow a friend to be alone — answering all calls, all of the time. I will always love Mary, and anticipate the day when we are able to work together once more, helping one another through this school of spiritual beings living the human experience.Thank you for your kindness, friendship and teaching. Your little brother misses you and sends love and light.
