Lord, please help me to fight off any lustful temptations and sexual sin. Please, remove any obstacle from my path that lead me back to the Devil, and cleanse me of any impure thoughts so that I may be saved by your grace and mercy. Lord, make me sensitive to your Word, and save me from any moments of weakness, so that if I’m about to fall, you save me and bring me back ashore. Lord, I pray that I don’t misuse your endless mercy and grace, and that I remember how blessed I am to be able to be loved by You. Remind me in moments where I feel like I can outsmart you, that you know everything and are everything, and that by falling, I am betraying you. In Jesus’s name, I pray that you forgive me once again for sinning against you, and I pray that you’ll forgive me and continue to stay by my side.
Thank you God for sending down your only Son to die, so that I may be saved from my sins and the fires of Hell. Thank you Jesus for staying on that cross for me, because I know I was in your mind as you were being sacrificed for my sins. Lord, thank you for continuing to show me your mercy and grace, no matter how many times I mess up. Thank you for never trying to get even with me for how many times I mess up, but rather, being forgiving and loving whenever I come to you, clean or unclean. Jesus, thank you for reminding me that I am always able to run back home to you, no matter how far I wander off, and that I am always forgiven if I ask for forgiveness. Lord, please cleanse me once again, and help me to fight off this temptation and sin, once and for all, so that I may live our your Word and plans for my life and make you proud.
Father, I also want to pray for everyone else who is struggling with the same sins as me. I understand how hard it is to cope with lustful and impure thoughts, but God, I pray that you act as a guidepost in all these people’s lives and help them break free from the chains of sin. Lord, I want to ask for forgiveness on their behalf, and I pray that you forgive them just as you have forgiven me. Lord, bless them and guide them, provide them the strength, the courage, and the faith they need to run away from this sin and into Your arms.
