Thought I'd revisit this. According to you, in another recent thread, forgiveness alone does not reverse or erase an offense.

It doesn't, but believing in Christ does, because he paid the price for sin.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
