A student account is created for each student using the email address used when the purchase for the course is made. Some students leave a note with us before checkout with an email address they prefer to use instead or for the email address we already have on file if they have enrolled into previous courses and used a different email address for their purchase.
It is strongly recommended to not use an email account with an ending of .edu
State and government educational institutions will very often block our courses as spam or set data limits which can prevent our students from receiving their lessons. Yahoo and Hotmail accounts will also often have the emails go to spam or become blocked.
We recommend using a more versatile email service such as gmail instead because their spam filters are strong, and our emails are recognized as genuine content.
