Creating A Religion
rev.daniel replied to Oscar's topic in * Welcome - ULC Minister's Introduction Junction *
IMO a religion is a way of life and belief system that fits you, and you think by spreading or talking about the message you have can positively influence the people, community, possibly the world. A cult is a system you create to manipulate others for your benefit. Cults apply also to those mentally unstable individuals who prey on the weak minded and spiritually starving. -
Creating A Religion

Be sure to leave room in your own beliefs as well as any new religion, open for expansion and discovery. -
An Atheiest Pov On Religion
rev.daniel replied to Pegasuss's topic in Freethought, Secularism, No Religion
I thought an atheist's point of view was a lack thereof. Sorry, I get non-belief denominations mixed up. -

Question For Poets/writers On The Forum
rev.daniel replied to SilverRose's topic in Creative Expression & Cultural Arts
Didn't read their poetry, but love their music. -
Al Pacino in serpico meets Richie Valens' overly agressive brother in La Bamba. My wife says I look like Johnny Depp in the Ninth Gate with my specs on. They flatter me. Most of the time I look like crap.

Now that you mention it you do.

Good episode! Sadly, Evil Dead movies are about as close as I've gotten to the Necrinomicon so far.
-
Are you published? If so, I would love to read more of your work.

He sounds like a very talented man. Fortunately, it sounds like he had opportunities to live his dreams. God bless you and your family.

Do you mind if I use this for a ceremony in June?

Peter Stormare was excellent in Constantine, and creepy and wierd in just about everything I've seen him in, 8MM comes to mind.

I'm going to suggest they do that, but also want prayers there. -
First Wedding
rev.daniel replied to rev.daniel's topic in * Welcome - ULC Minister's Introduction Junction *
Yes, and he simply wants a non-denominational, Bible based, ceremony, so I have much leaveway. -
Any suggestions for weddings? Doing my first in June, for my cousin, and surrogate little brother, and I want to do the best for him, he deserves it. It will be a Christian ceremony, non-denominational.

Vincent D'onofrio was very creepy (all of his personalities) in The Cell. He saved Jennifer Lopez's no talent can when he stole the show.

Happy belated birthday!

Christopher Walken steals every show! He can make you watch "Balls of Fury", and even musicals.

What Genre Of Music You Love To Listen?
rev.daniel replied to Darynthium's topic in Cultural Arts Archive
Ditto. Although, if in a drinking mood, a little old school AC/DC and Skynard can't hurt.
