“(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)”
Welcome, God bless you this morning. Glory be to God for waking us up this morning. I know some of you are going through hardship with the pandemic as well as financial hardship. Today, is the day the lord has opened YOUR eyes and ears to hear the word of God and see what is going on in the world that through faith and hope put YOUR trust in the lord.
Let’s talk about what Paul wrote to the Ephesians and how he addressed the problems in the church. YOU are a church, when YOU pray, YOU are putting YOUR faith in the lord and through this faith miracles happen in YOUR life.
Paul wrote Eph.5:6 “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” We are not the children of disobedience but the children of hope. In our hearts the lord know YOUR every intention. Don’t let political actions turn you from God!!!! Yes, we need Jesus to step into our world to make every soul bow to his name. However, just because you bow to his name and if your heart still hold revenge, grudge, selfishness, we are the true cause of our disobedience.
Ephesians 5:7 -5:10
“Be not ye therefore partakers with them.” 8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Wake up! God is telling us don’t be part of the problem but a solution. How can I help? What is my voice do and I’m only one voice? There is sickness all around us? what am I supposed to do? My family members are sick from the virus, I have children that will be going back to school!!! Lord where are you?
All these questions are valid and need to be addressed through prayer. These are some of the obstacles the lord have warned us, only the lord can see beyond these obstacles. Paul wrote God is in our minds and hearts if we humble our spirits. We know the difference between right, wrong and being safe.
Ephesians 5:11-5:12
God have blessed YOU with sight to see what’s wrong and not want YOU not to be a partakers to sin but look unto him Jesus to cover YOU, to heal YOUR minds, to restore our finances and most of all bless YOU with the holy spirit.
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. “12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.”
