1. Why was it important for Jesus to feed 5,000 people ?

– This teaches us to show compassion and to meet human needs, especially the hungry.

2.How did Jesus feed 5,000 people with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes?
– Jesus wanted us to learn that God is with us at all times; Jesus also wanted to show the power of God”s love toward people who are hungry and healing the sick. This also show that Jesus is the messiah through God’s miracles. Matt 14:14

3.How was feeding this multitude of people show the power of the lord – 14:15 ?

This is interesting the apostles that were with Jesus wanted to send the people away because it was getting dark and the only food was 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes. This is very important for us to know because large crowds at night with no light, people are hungry, tired and some people came from far villages hearing that Jesus is near. The miracles of healing Jesus performed reached people in near and far villages. The power is in the word of God. Jesus fed the people God in heaven’s word, gospel, and being born again. At this point even the apostles asked Jesus to send the people away. Jesus touched all the hearts with compassion, part of this compassion were the miracle to aid all the people with with food out of “5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes.” 14:21 The apostles were astonished by the miracle of the breaking of the bread continued to be filling to ALL the people, and in the basket of fish, it was endless all were fed and was filled.

4.What is this miracle telling us? Jesus is telling us that the word of God is the miracle in us. Jesus is showing us to be kind to others, have compassion and empathy toward others in need. Healing others with God’s gift of fellowship, and embracing Christianity. In this era Christianity was new to people because the bible say that people stray from God.

God is our power source, he gave each one of us the power of prayer to keep connected to his holy word. Don’t cease to praying 1 Thessalonian 5:16-18. Rejoice always, give thanks to all circumstances for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus in YOU!!!!

Amen
