Psalms 91:2 “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” David signify his deep devotion to God; however, God tells us that even David knew a Messiah would come which is Jesus. God wants us to know level of faith. Faith to seek hope in the lord. Refuge and fortress is to have trust and intensity growing to lean on the lord. Understand that we need to learn how to trust. We live in the flesh, the flesh has a hard time believing and trusting without seeing. Jesus said you only need faith as a mustard seed. This passage tells us to trust in the lord. Give your spirit to the lord through prayer. Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
