Welcome to being God’s disciple, Jesus had 12 disciples and here is the teaching of the lord through these 12 disciples. One disciple Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. In our hearts and mind we can say, that we are not a Judas who sell anything of value for money (Mathew 26:15). This is wrong, it is wrong to let money stand in the way of your thinking. Sure we have a budget, and some of us have fallen on hardship.
Jesus knew he would be betrayed, and this woman poured oil on Jesus head, the man said what is this waste. Jesus said she is preparing me for my death. Hard to understand that Jesus knew he was going to die. When we are pushed to sin no matter how big or small still it’s sin. One day I want to see Jesus again. YOU are worth the anointing of oil on your head. Be of good courage each day.
