inlarry
I'm a ULC minister in Indiana and have an Indiana couple who wants to be married in a park just across the state line in Kentucky. Two questions: 1) Do they need a Kentucky license, or can they have one from Indiana?2) Can I, since I'm not from KY, perform their ceremony? mark 45
generally, the couple must have a license from the state they are getting married in,and if from out of state,be married in the county they got it from.as near as i can tell,as long as your properally ordained(your ordanation is confirmed by hq)you can do the ceremony.i don't know what ky laws are about getting the paperwork back to where it has to go,so you need to check on that.each state is different. pmo
SWC has sent you into the correct site, they will need a KY license. A friend advertises in Ky and Indiana and does 100 plus weddings in KY and Indiana yearly, you won't have any problem.REVPO
