I'm a ULC minister in Indiana and have an Indiana couple who wants to be married in a park just across the state line in Kentucky. Two questions:

1) Do they need a Kentucky license, or can they have one from Indiana?

2) Can I, since I'm not from KY, perform their ceremony?

generally, the couple must have a license from the state they are getting married in,and if from out of state,be married in the county they got it from.

as near as i can tell,as long as your properally ordained(your ordanation is confirmed by hq)you can do the ceremony.

i don't know what ky laws are about getting the paperwork back to where it has to go,so you need to check on that.each state is different.
