cuchulain
egocentricity(sp?) is what matters, what the personal point of view believes to be most important. The mouse thinks the cat is a dynamic devil, but the cat thinks the mouse is dinner.
emalpaiz
Enlightened souls open their minds so that they can increase their Understanding; they open their hearts so that they can offer all sentient beings Loving-Compassion. That is why we call them Mahatmas (Great Souls), yet they never abandon their simplicity and humility. Hermano Luis
panpareil
And yet like Arjuna, we are what we are. We do what we do. Playing our part in life is not egotistic, if our part is an egotist.I think there may be an entry in the DSM for those who are missing their ego. There must be some quantifiable regarding spirituality otherwise all would not only be the same they would also be considered the same.Yet we have Gandhi and Gacy. So is the difference real or imaginary? And if it is imaginary does it make any difference what we do? If it is real is it any more than our feelings for the person, a list of their deeds, or their intentions. Personally, I go with my gut.
Kingfisher
When folks hear raptor they don't usually think of a kingfisher, et vice versa. From a philosophical point of view, the value of "size" is relative. Now you know why they have pointy hair.
