  1. Information For Example...
  2. I went and saw this movie yesterday. It was good. Not too scary, but more of a psychological thriller. I don't know much about Hoodoo, but the movie is centered around it. The ending of he movie does have a twist, but I figured it out before the end. I'd recommend it!
  3. Picked up Requiem for the Sun by Elizabeth Haydon. I read her Rhapsody Trilogy a couple of years ago and this book is a follow up to that trilogy.
  4. Just finished Rider's First Call and am off to the library to find something new... Edited to add an "n" to make "ad" into "and"
  5. Read The Green Rider by Kristen Britian last week and am reading the sequel, First Rider's Call right now. It's nothing special, but the local library has a small fantasy section.
  6. Read Golden Fool and Fool's Fate last week. Don't have anything to read right now, which is okay... I have to work on the house a bit.
  7. Didn't read Golden Fool, but picked up Regina's Song, by David Eddings, and read that instead. Fininished it yesterday. Right now, though, I don't have anything to read...
  8. Just Finished Fool's Errand and need to pick up the next book in the series: Golden Fool
  9. Just finished: The New Spring last night and started The Fool's Errand by Robin Hobb, this morning.
  10. I'm taking a break from the New Jedi Order series but starting Force Heretic soon. I hope the secrets of the Yuuzhan Vong are really interesting. At the end of Destiny's Way they destroyed a large part of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet thanks to Ackbar's plan and Cal Omas said they wouldn't deploy Alpha Red. He's also trying to create a new galactic government with more checks and balances. Luke formed a new Jedi counsel. I think that's everything. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (see above post...) Ha ha ha ha ... I know what happens!
  11. Justi finished Star Wars: New Jedir Order: Unifying Force and started The New Spring which is a prelude to The Wheel of Time.
  12. Actually, I think it's the second review (bottum-->up), by me: Jonun1.
  13. Druids: Celtic Priests of Nature Possibly the best book on actual druidism I've ever read. It stays away from all the new age modern drudism and uses archeology, anthropology and other sciences to deduct who and what the drudis truly were. A must read for anyone interested in Druids. Two of three Thumbs Up! Why only two...? Because the book is translated from French and is sometimes difficult to understand what the author is trying to tell us.
  14. I just finished The Da Vinci Code and it's highly recommended. Especially for the likes of us... people who enjoy religious discussion. Excellent read! Three out of three Thumbs Up!
  15. I recommend A Game of Thrones. It is by far one of the best fantasy books I've ever read. If you enjoy your sword and sorcery non-fluffy, I recommend it. Three out of three Thumbs Up!
  16. The Currently Reading topic is getting pretty long and I thought it would be a bit difficult for people to try and sift through all the reviews of books and such, so I wanted to start this series of topics intending to provide an outlet to not just say what you were currently reading, but to allow you to recommend books that you've read in the past.

  19. Tell me about it. I just picked up Staw Wars: New Jedi Order: Unifying Force after having not read any of the Star Wars books over 18 months. But it's the last one in the series, so...
  20. A lot of things resemble Lord of the Rings too much. Sword of Shannara is like that, but the following books are not like the 'Rings. I actually started the series with the Elfstones of Shannara, and I still think it's a better book. Chin up, it get's better.
  21. Just finished Revenge of the Sith last Friday and now reading The DaVinci Code although I haven't read too much yet.
  22. "A History of Pagan Europe" As seen here. And "Treason" by Ann Coulter As Seen Here
