  1. Seattle used to be affiliated but there was a falling out. Seattle has been (from what I’ve researched) very, very active in court battles defending the rights of ministers to officiate weddings, etc. Modesto, it appears, hasn’t been as involved.
  2. To be honest I think a lot of people have given up on the Modesto church, which appears to many to be nothing but a store and no real direction. Many have gone over to the Seattle church and it’s forum which is very, very active.
  3. The ULCHQ site is www.ulchq.com. The site that Brother Kevin runs is www.ulc.net. The Monastery (which is the Seattle based ULC) is www.monastery.org or www.getordained.org and www.(The Monastery).
  4. Seems that this forum has died. Most recent post seem to be from early 2022. Is anyone home??
  5. Has anyone checked into this forum lately. Seems l8ke everyone disappeared.

  6. read article https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-signs-legislation-allowing-individuals-become-one-day-marriage-officiants
  7. NOW ANYONE CAN OFFICIATE A WEDDING IN NYS https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-signs-legislation-allowing-individuals-become-one-day-marriage-officiants
  8. Anytime. We New Yorkers have to keep each other informed since no one else would. 😂😂
  9. A bill has been introduced into the NYS legislature to add ULC ministers to the marriage laws. Currently there are still some county clerks that are giving ULC ministers a hard time. NYS marriage law specifies “any clergyman of any religion or” and it names various groups. Here is the link to the proposed law change. http://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/a8547?fbclid=IwAR3z83BGPvB2ttCKL5x4QwnXe2D8yaS0xAlYebMfBs308HM_3CQzHjJvZas
