  1. That was wonderful and they're in my prayers every night.
  2. Mostly through meditation, and dreams. Most things I write have angels in them I suppose because I've always been drawn to them.
  3. Here from the king's mountain view Here from the wild dream come true Feast like a sultan I do On treasures and flesh, never few But I I would Wish it all away If I thought I'd lose you just one day The devil of his had me down In love with the dark side I'd found Dabbling all the way down Up to my neck soon to drown But you changed that all for me Lifted me up, turned me around So I... I would Wish this all away Prayed like a father dusk to dawn Beg like a hooker all night long Tempted the devil with my song And got what I wanted all along But I And I would If I could And I would Wish it away Wish it away Wish it all away Wanna wish it all away No price you could hold sway Or justify my kneeling away my center So if I could I'd wish it all away If I thought tomorrow would take you away You're my peace of mind, my home, my center I'm just trying to hold on one more day Dim my eyes Dim my eyes Dim my eyes if they should compromise Or fall from what you need If I believed it, I might as well be gone Shine on forever Shine on benevolent son Shine down upon the broken Shine until the two become one Shine on forever Shine on benevolent son Shine on upon the severed Shine until the two become one Divided I'm withering away Divide and I'm withering away Shine on upon the many, light our way Benevolent son Breathe in union So as one survive Another day and season Silence leech, and say your poison Silence leech, and stay out of my way
  4. The Ascent Where is the wisdom of conscience? Where can I find my answers sought? Why is my path not clear? How far must I fall before I rise again? I see a light in the darkness… I take His hand, still scarred with sacrifice… Focus overwhelms me, The warmth takes me over, Life is breathed into my soul, New life. Born again hard, Quickened and strong, No longer bent easily by delusions, Or made weak by my Adversary… I am completed!
  5. It spreads its wings. Leveling mountains, The earth moves in turn, swallowing cities, With one wing dipped in blood. It flies faster... looking down upon the earth, with hate and love. Overflowing, unceasing, Following the Word.
  6. Angel Wings Category: Writing and Poetry The warmth of the light of dawn touches my wings, The song of the Bene Elohim warms my heart, They sing without pause in praise... In the distance I observe the mighty Seraphs pondering just what the business of the day should be (Raphael winks and smiles). Upward I soar, above His temple in the eternal city, My Heaven, My Paradise, My Home!
  7. The Vision (poem inspired after reading a Flavius Josephus writing) Category: Writing and Poetry A vision of a God of one people, At last realized by the entirety of the whole world. All has been sacrificed, For the faith reborn. A vision rebuking the evil of ignorance, Exposing the Truth at last, To the foreign, to the domestic, To all. A vision that washes clean the rust, That has kept the soul from shining, From true sight. From true light. This is the vision that Christ died for, The vision I carry within my heart, The standard of my soul.
  8. Trinity There is nothing you can kill inside yourself, That He cannot resurrect. No, there is no death found in Him, And be sure that He can quicken the light inside you again… Be awakened, and freed from the vice of self destruction, To believe in Him is to believe in the regeneration of your spirit, And to be purified by Him is to be cloaked in the love of the Father. When you are loved by One, also you are loved by the Three… Do as the Father commands, Find your way through the Son, To be embraced by the Holy Spirit, So that the Three unite as One inside you! Peace be with you!
  9. Dreaming I fear the time when the stars fall from the sky, Striking the earth in waves, obliterating all they touch, Burning the sky and oceans below, A vision of a thousand nightmares, As I behold the shear panic and cries of the unready. Scientists struggle with their technology to find the planets, That have been shaken from their courses, By a universe being pushed and pulled, Being forcefully torn apart, As the sun dies, the moon glows an eerie burgundy, Foreshadowing the end of the material… The faithful will silently kneel, While the sinful and unbelieving run…to no where… So much noise of things shattering, Crunching, shifting, tearing, Then a moment of unsettling silence all over the world, As a new light shines from the heavens…. I wish this were a poem and not last night's dream.
  10. I'm pretty much in agreement with most of what you said in your post Blackthorn. I do believe when we die, we are judged on an individual basis. God leads us all in our own paths, I think. Our sin would be not to question what that path is, or to go against the path you know He set out for you. Some people use the words "a doubting Thomas" when people question what lies ahead, or what is true, but Thomas was not rebuked for his curiosity, Jesus gladly proved to Him what he was saying. By the way, if you haven't read the Gospel of Thomas, I highly recommend it.
