ohiovol
I have been asked whether I can legaly perform a wedding in Italy.I have performed a few weddings in the past. All of them in the state of Ohio.I am having a tough time finding whether my Ordination is acceptable in Italy.Or what steps I might need to perform to get Ordanted in Italy.Or whether it is even possible.Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks Link to comment
Brother Kaman
Try the Italian consulate. They should provide you with the information you are looking for. Link to comment
Rev Douglas Trouten
According to the US Embassy website for Italy (heres the link http://italy.usembassy.gov/acs/marriage/general-marriage.html) the wedding has to be performs as a civil ceremony by a government official (Mayor, Judge, etc...) or by a Roman Catholic Priest.
