Rev Joe Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 It may depend on the state you are in. Minnesota recently changed its law so that you now have to be 21 to officiate a marriage! mark 45 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 since you are the"officiant"in a legal contract(ie:a marriage,with license i'm guessing),most states will not allow you to do so before your a minimum of 18.there is nothing stopping you from conducting a religious ceremony if the people involved want you to do so.
