nestingwave
100 words (or less) is a challenge to keep it short and sweet. If anyone is overly wordy, it is me. Many have told me, so, I am working to improve my writing skills. Few words -- but with multidimensional impact (hopefully). You try too. The under 100 word short story (title doesn't count) is quite a bit of fun. You try it too.So, here is my first offering. Enjoy! Woodchuck Buffalo Woodchuck stood at the edge of porch. Two feet tall and grinning, staring me down. "My beautiful Kale is gone," I whispered, "could you not munch the dandelions instead?" Woodchuck smiled. "You're a Buddhist it is said," Woodchuck spoke in perfect English. Jaw on the ground, I was taken by surprise. "Ca .. Could we not … uh … make a deal?" I stuttered. Woodchuck smiled. With my shaking forefingers, I dug out my ears, eyes like dinner plates. "Okay, here's the deal," Roundface said, "all is mine, you get nothingness." "… uh … okay." Fawzo
My mind untamed like raging elephant,no fetters strong enough to hold.Silence only can soothe the noisy fearful beast. It counts its breaths a brief respite, the scent of honeysuckles fills its dreams.A garden grows of light and love my heart rests peaceful through the dawn.Ok thats my attempt, but I'm not even sure what we are attempting to do. nestingwave
Chinese Love and FearChing Lang Fu and Walinda Wu, Fell in love at a petting zoo. Nevermind what they did do, But, certainly, it was nothing new. Security got all upset, And captured them in a tigers net, handcuffed them on a straight flush bet, And flew them off on rendition jet.
