saredwa
This morning I had planned to attend the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, TN. I live in North Carolina and because I have had some complications from a recent surgery, my husband was concerned about the long drive. I decided it would be best to stay home today.A few hours later (after going back to sleep), I got an email from a church member asking if anyone knew what was going on at church. Since then I found out that a man entered the church with a guitar case, pulled out a shotgun, and shot 6 people. It happened during the much-anticipated children's production of "Annie." One of the injured died at the hospital. Please lift up the victims, their families, the traumatized witnesses, and the church.Thank you all for your support.~SarahTVUUC websitehttp://www.tvuuc.org/Knoxville news coverage of shootinghttp://www.wbir.com/news/breaking/story.as...22&catid=
Guest pathmender
I have not heard of this terrible event, but like all senseless acts of violence, I am deeply saddened. I have prayed for the victims so that they may be healed by God’s boundless love and comforted by His presence. I have prayed that those who did not survive will be brought swiftly to God’s side where all their tears and sorrow will be wiped away and that they will be forever safe and happy in their eternal life with our Father according to His will. I have also prayed that your church be renewed in its strength of faith and service to God by the unity of a bond that is support and love you all left to share now.May God bless you and keep you strong in His service. Amen.Rev. Campbell.

bsawtelle
We should especially pray for the children for having to witness that violence. They will live with it for the rest of their lives.
