  2. Awesome Dude! Simply awesome. E.
  3. I agree, but I'm a Wheedon-verse junkie. I miss the 'other' one, but it was time for it to end. So, Nerts, wha'd'ya think of Serenity? I loved it! Thought it fit into the series quite well. I was sad though... can't say why for those who have not yet had the chance to chack it out... but overall I would give it like a 9 out of 10. One of the best movies I saw last year. E.
  4. TV shows that ended to soon eh? How about: 1) Titus. Man that show was AWESOME! So bittersweet. Makes my face hurt when I watch it 'cause I laugh so much. Makes me glad my family wasn't THAT screwed up! 2) American Gothic. Anyone else remember that show? someone's at the door. someone's at the door. someone's at the door. someone's at the door. Creepy. Bad acting but still creepy. 3) Firefly. C'mon people this is WAY better than any other space based show on TV. Ever. It's the only GOOD space based show that I've seen since Star Trek TNG! (NOTE: this is just my opinon mind you. I know there are a lot of hardcore fans out there of other space based shows that would argue with me but this is MY opinon.) That's all I can remember right now. Maybe I'll think up some more in a bit. I'll let y'all know if I do. E.
  5. I LOVE Goodkinds stuff! He's WAY better that Jordan! I read the first two books of the 'Immortality' series and that was hard enough. There wasn't really a difference between the first two books. It was like reading the same book over again. I'm hoping that the last few don't follow suit. Otherwise I thought they were OK. I'm going to be reading the "Space Tyrant" (can't remember the full title) series next. E.
  6. If I were y'all I would check out Steven Erikson's "A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Dead" series. So far it's 5 books long and it's a friggin' AWESOME series! Lots of detail without getting bogged down. He writes his characters well and makes sure you don't get lost as to what's going on. Two really big thumbs up from me! E.
  7. I'm not really into sci-fi but I really like Tad Williams's series called Otherland. I found it slow to start but as the series progressed it got insanly better. It's four books long with about 1000 pages each. Enjoy! E.
  8. "I'll be reading this one in the next day or so! I can't wait! I'm currently reading Instinctive Archery Insights, Free Stuff for Busy Moms, re-reading Shogun (again) and Green Witchcraft II(again.) Does anyone have a good historical fiction book they recommend? " Hey Manderbeast! How is that Greenwitchcraft series? I've been thinking about reading it but I haven't been able to find the books yet. Is it any good? E.
  9. I'm re-reading the David Eddings Belgariad and Mallorean series for about the billionth time. If you're only going to read ONE fantasy series in your life then this one should be it! E.
  10. Well lets take a look at what I've got on the go here: Wicca A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner - Scott Cunningham Wicca for Men - A.J. Drew The Redemption of Althalus - David & Leah Eddings Naked Empire - Terry Brooks Sea of Silver Light - Tad Williams The Wheedle on the Needle - Stephen Cosgrove (I read this all the time. It takes me to my happy place. Anyone else heard of this book? If you've got kids you should SO get this book. Especially if you live in or around Seattle) That's it for now. I work at night so I have to keep myself etertained somehow. Take it easy everyone! E.
