  1. Over 20 years ago I took a three year course in Druidry with the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids in the UK. After attaining the three grades I was accepted into the order as a full Druid. The nature of Druidry is such that it satisfies my mind. However, it is not recognised by the authorities as having any value, indeed the philosophy is often treated with contempt or amusement. Of course, Britain has a state religion with the Queen at its head, so other faiths, although tolerated, are not treated as equal. To my way of thinking my beliefs are no less valid than those of any other system, none of which can produce any proof. Being ordained by the ULC gave me the feeling of belonging to a community of people I can respect and for that I thank you.
  2. Thank you for the kind words. Although I have been ordained for a while, I have preferred to remain in the background as far as the forum is concerned. However, I find some of the comments very much to my liking and the healthy discussion of faiths appeal to my sense of the way it should be. I appreciate all that you do to open the ministry up as it should be.

  3. Welcome to the ULC.net forum! I hope you find our little family of friends to be the warm and open bunch of folks that we have.

Take a look around, join in on the discussions and let us know a little about yourself in New Members and FAQ's. We are always glad to see new perspectives. We're glad you've chosen our forum to expand your path and understanding!
