emalpaiz
Today the Hindu world celebrates the birth and life of Sri Bhagavan Krishna, an Avatar or Incarnation of God. It is claimed that Sri Krishna was born 5,200 years ago. Sri Krishna has promised in the Gita that He would come to the world everytime to destroy evil, protect the good, and restore the spiritual values of mankind. To all, Hindus and none Hindus, have a very happy Sri Krishna Janmashtami.Hermano Luis Edited September 5, 2015 by emalpaiz

It is an important date for you and I wish there were more followers of the Gita here to share it with you. I hope the celebrations were eventful for you and your fellow brothers. Songster
I just saw this too... I missed the day of remembrance, but wish to pass on the only verse I remember from my reading of the Gita- "Peace. Peace. Peace."
