Administrator murphzlaw1 Posted January 29, 2012 Administrator Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 Ordained ULC ministers are authorized and encouraged to ordain others. In fact, it is one of the most important of the rites and duties you can perform as a minister. The ordination "ceremony" itself, if any, is entirely up to you. There doesn't have to be one at all, or you can have it as formal as you like. Before the ordination is legal, it must be recorded in the church records, so don't neglect this important detail. The easiest way to submit the new minister's name and info is via the web site:http://ordain.ulc.netBy submitting the ordination online, you are able to get a confirmation that the ordination has indeed been received, reviewed and recorded. You are not authorized to ordain others without their permission, however. So make sure each person specifically intends to be ordained.
