I saw it. I enjoyed the book immensely, as far as books you read while visiting relatives go. It wasn't a literary masterpiece, but it was nice brain candy. The movie? It hurt me. That's how bad it was.
Aslan isn't real?! Seriously. It's speculation and fun. I think the story indicated that it was more an inquiry into the speculations made in the book. Did anyone else think the book was totally over-hyped?
Love the broadway version, saw it in Atlanta twice and once in my little college town here in Georgia. Enjoyed the movie enough, but think a different director would have done it more justice. They say I have the best.... below 14th street!
