Moby Dick -
That was really interesting. I love the History Channel.

Lewis was completely open about the fact that the books represented his view of Christianity. But they're good stories whatever you believe. Aslan said he created the world of Narnia to help the kids love him in their own world. I think the idea was that a fairytale world was good for them while they were young but when they got older they were supposed to put that aside and embrace Christianity. And Susan goes to hell in the end. Don't forget that.

The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. I'll be on this one for a while. Also Aghora, At the Left Hand of God by Robert Svoboda. -
Anybody going to see this movie? Or even know anthing about it lol? Well it's the continuation of a really great tv show called Firefly that was cancelled after 11 episodes aired. It was hard to get into but really great once you do. It's a westernish sci-fi show about a crew of misfits trying to scrape out a living in space and running from an opressive government.

Dan Brown hinted not so subtly in the book that he wanted Harrison Ford to play Langdon but Tom Hanks should be great too.
-
Definitely looks like it'll do the book justice. I doubt it'll be as popular as LOTR or Harry Potter but I hope it does good enough to get a couple more of the books made.

Reunion-NJO I just finished The Years of Rice and Salt by him. Same thing, slow but I just had to finish it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How is that? It sounds interesting. -

If you'd like, I can fix the topic title! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd appreciate it. I feel dumb seeing that -
http://www.annanalick.com/ She's the first new singer I've been impressed with in a long time. This is my favorite song of hers. Citadel I'm sitting on a citadel Contemplating life Making a point to waste my time I'm sitting on clouds of white What if I fall? What if I don't? What if I never make it home? What if I bleed? What if I break? And I find that I can't take The city below the citadel Holding my own hand And I'm breaking on the balcony Breaking window panes Killing the pain of broken hearts I'm walking on clouds Walking on stars What if I fall? What if I don't? What if I never make it home? What if I bleed? What if I break? And I find that I can't take The city below the citadel Holding my own hand I'm holding onto something It's keeping me from jumping I'm so afraid to go it alone And holding up this fortress with imaginary forces Longing for a life downelow What if I fall? What if I don't? What if I never make it home? What if I bleed? What if I break? And I find that I can't take The city below the citadel Holding my own hand

Yeah my fault I sometimes mix up the name with a book called The Letter, the Witch, and the Ring by John Bellairs. -

Green Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson These books are slooooow but for some reason I want to finish the series -
I just saw a preview for this today. I didn't even know they were making it. It looks great! I really liked the Chronicles of Narnia books so I hope it does well so they make some of the others.

Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. Really funny and weird. I'm taking a break from the New Jedi Order series but starting Force Heretic soon. I hope the secrets of the Yuuzhan Vong are really interesting. At the end of Destiny's Way they destroyed a large part of the Yuuzhan Vong fleet thanks to Ackbar's plan and Cal Omas said they wouldn't deploy Alpha Red. He's also trying to create a new galactic government with more checks and balances. Luke formed a new Jedi counsel. I think that's everything.
