My Personal Page

I am creeping up to 40 years old and loving every moment during this journey. I have four wonderful children, one boy and three girls, who keep me feeling younger. Keeping up with them and their activities can be trying, but well worth it. I see myself as being a partner with my children in making our journey through life. Working with them and loving them, is the greatest gift I can give in assisting their growth from child to adult.

I strive to find joy in everything I do. I enjoy playing guitar and writing country music. Of course, I can no longer play the "Barney" theme song to wake up my kids in the morning, without having something thrown at me. I have serious moments, but reserve much of my time for play. We schedule time for travel, or to simply go to the mountains for an afternoon.

I have an associates degree as a paralegal, although I don't directly work in law (too much corruption). I'm a behavior analysis, and am certified as a master in neuro-linguistics programming, where I spend much of my time researching how traumatic experience affects one's sense of self. I am writing a book, which through exercises will reduce or eliminate traumatic affect (i.e. abnormal personality disorders), and it takes the reader through a process of rebuilding their sense of self. This must be the greatest challenge I have personally committed to, and I am extremely excited to complete this project, and continue doing what I love to do.

That's a bit about who I am.
