Have been a fan of the story for years, ever since I first read the book. Heard the radio broadcast done by Orson Wells several times, and saw the first movie made that I think was done in 1952.

Good movie. Would not take younger children to see it. My daughter actually refused to go.

Interesting factual study acted out in how frightened confused mob action behaves. Also contains a little scene on how you really do need to be careful who you share your bunker with.

Going to add it to my list of good post apocalyptic survival training flicks.

There are scenes in there that will almost certainly disturb younger children.
