I put in a call to my local probate court and found out that in the state of Georgia, i do not have to be registered to preform wedding ceremonies. The young lady i spoke to let me know that once i turned in the paper to them it would be sent off to the state capital, where my ordination would be verified there. My question is this ... what do i need to do, if anything, to ensure that when the ordination is checked it comes back positive. I would truly hate to perform a ceromony for a young couple only to run into troubles later, and heaven forbid their marriage not be legal.
